Hannah's POV
Class. Our school will participate in the Interscholastic Quiz Bee. This competition where all the things that were taught in school will be asked. Our school will hold an elimination round and the winner will represent our school in the said competition. Our teacher said.
And for this class. Our representative will be Ms. Cruz and Ms. Smith. The two of you should work together to win the rounds. Okay? She said and we agreed.
Luke's POV
Geez! This second class is suck! Why do we still need to take the exam when they could actually pick someone from our class to be the participant in the contest?
Guys! I have good news. Hannah was one of the chosen student to participate in the contest. Marco said.
You better watch out if her partner is a boy. I said to him.
Nope! Her partner is not a boy. It's George. He said.
What? That girl? I still not forgotten the humiliation she had done to me.
She said that they were personally picked by their teacher. Isn't it amazing? He excitedly said.
Hmm? I think I need to participate in the contest and crashed that girl. I said.
Ho ho ho! You haven't moved on yet from her kicking your ass. Nathan said.
Kick my ass?! What if I kick your ass punk? I said.
Woah! Relax man. I'm just kidding. He said.
Yo, Rex. I noticed your silence since the first subject. What's the matter? I asked.
No, it's nothing. I'm just not feeling well. Don't mind me dumbass. He said.
Okay class! Pass these papers and start answering it within 40 minutes, and we'll check the answer. The two students who have the highest score will participate in the contest. Our teacher said.
These are advanced questions! We haven't tackled this once. But there's some easy questions. Looking at the guys, it's still a usual thing that it's only Marco who take this test seriously. Nathan and I are trying to answer the quiz while Rex is daydreaming. 25 minutes later, Rex stands up and pass his paper. Everyone was astonished that he pass his paper before the time. My teacher look at the paper and trying to check it. He keeps on looking to Rex like she's judging him. What did Rex do this time? Later on, we pass our paper and check the answers. While we are checking, I could hear one of the students were being amazed in the paper she's checking. After the checking of answers, our teacher announced the two students who will participate in the contest. The first one is Marco. He scored 45/50. And the second one in which our teacher was amazed is the student who scored 50/50. That student is unbelievable because that student is Rex. I can't believe it myself. Rex is an outgoing person. I don't know how intelligent he is. He answered those questions in just 25 minutes. He's unbelievable.
In the next day, our school held the elimination round, where all the chosen students gathered in the gym. Our representatives easily pass the first round as well as the second, third and fourth round. The fifth round has eight groups. They'll be having a versus battle and will be defined by draw lots. The first pair is Alex's group versus the freshman duo. The second pair is Hannah and the jerk's group versus the sophomore duo. The third pair is Stanley's group versus another senior duo and lastly our duo versus a senior duo. This will be the best of five questions.
Hannah's group won the round against the freshman duo as well as Alex group. Stanley had easily won the round while Marco and Rex barely win the round.
Moving on, Hannah's group and Alex's group will compete to each other while the second pair is Stanley's group versus Marco and Rex.
Nathan and I are sitting on the left side of the gym watching and cheering for our friends.
