Crowley gave Will a huge smile, "Come on. There's someone who's dying to meet you. No pun intended."
Alyss and Crowley shared a knowing smile, which baffled Will completely. They led him out of the cabin and towards the castle. This baffled Will all the more.
"In the castle?" he began, "Who-"
"They didn't usually live in Redmont, but they came here waiting to meet you." Alyss explained.
"Meet me? They came here to meet me?" Will repeated, incredulously.
Alyss and Crowley nodded, and they walked over the drawbridge of the castle. Will watched as a maid servant carried a huge pot of stew to the dining hall. He watched as his good friends Horace and Cassandra walked through the courtyard, tears on Cassandra's face. Maddie was nowhere to be found.
Oh yeah, he was dead. He'd almost forgotten.
He stepped forward to try to talk to them, but a hand on his shoulder stopped him.
"They can't hear you, Will. There's no point trying." Alyss's voice said softly. Will stood where he was, watching as Cassandra stopped walking and collapsed in Horace's arms.
"He can't be..." she repeated over and over, as Horace gently lifted her in his arms and carried her inside.
Will stood, the tears pricking his eyes. He suddenly felt so selfish. What was he doing? Rejoicing as his friends cried over him? As they buried his dead body, he was having a celebration. As the feelings of selfishness filled him, Alyss turned his head towards her and kissed him.
"Come. Let's meet them."
They walked into the castle, up the stairs to the fifth landing. There, they went right to the end of the hall, and walked through the wall.
Through the wall.
"Whaa...?" Will mumbled, utterly confused as they seemed to emerge in the hall again. But this place was also slightly translucent.
Crowley knocked on one of the doors, and a woman opened it. Her eyes went over Crowley, then Alyss, and finally came to rest on Will. Her jaw dropped open and she ran back inside the room yelling, "Daniel! Daniel! Will's home! Will's home!"
Will's mind slowly put the pieces together.
"Wait. Oh. Oh! Are they..."
Crowley was hopping up and down, a huge grin on his face. "Meet your parents, Will!"

Daniel walked out of the room, his eyes falling to his son immediately. Tears started to form in his eyes as he wrapped his arms around his son.
"My son is home. My son is home." he said into Will's shoulder.
Then his mother walked out, with hair the same colour and just as messy as her son's. She was a short woman, but of average build and weight. She ran to Will and smooshed his face into her shoulder, hugging him while crying softly. Will hugged her back, a smile slowly spreading across his face.
