Prologue

Water. Earth. Fire. Air.

Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked the Air Temples—leaving devastation and heartbreak in their wake.

Even though the Air Nomads were thought to have been completely wiped out and the Avatar gone with them, some people never lost hope.

Throughout this war, there's been tragedy and rarely any victories. It's been hard to clutch onto faith, but I did.

Losing my mother and father at a young age to the brutality has been hard on me—but that's even more of a reason to keep pushing through. I could feel that my times of struggling wouldn't be in vain--that none of our struggles would be. "Why?" You may ask. Let's call it a hunch. Something tells me everything is about to change.

The fate of the world is about change.

Yet, even with this nagging feeling, nothing could've prepared myself for what happens next.

I just knew my hope hasn't been misplaced.

Welcome to my Book One. This "chapter" is super short, just a little intro to get started. The next chapter is a bit of backstory--but not too much! I'll be posting this chapter, the next chapter and the chapter after that, back-to-back to get this party started!

This story is super important to me, it's still in the works and I'll try my bestest(anything can be a word if you want it to be) to post weekly! I'm a college student right now and it's been rough. There is a break coming up though, so I'll be working more and hopefully posting more.
