"If I pull into that alley, I need you to throw yourself out of the vehicle." Jimin turned to Taehyung with a sick grin, his face basically screaming he had an idea. A twisted idea, but an idea nonetheless.

Now, most people would question this. Maybe even ask if Jimin's crazy, but no. Not Taehyung. Taehyung was loyal and it was rare for him to doubt Jimin. Taehyung was definitely one of the close friends of Jimin's that would happily give his life for the elder. That was because he respected him to a fucked up extent.

People like to call their ways fucked up and disgusting, but to them it wasn't. When you grow up a certain way, it's all you know. You don't always see the wrongdoings, or maybe you do and you embrace them.

What people didn't know was that their own system was absolutely undeniably corrupt. Ha, and they think the fucking law can protect them. The thing these people should really be afraid of was the law. But that's a realization for the oblivious people another time.

Without uttering a word, Taehyung nodded, unlocking his door and holding his hand on the handle. This wasn't the scariest thing he had done, so he wasn't feeling the most nervous. Rather, he was more nervous about the fact that he might hit his head on the ground. Even that wasn't making him tremble in fear.

You get used to things after you do them a few times.

"Go on five." Jimin slowly pressed his foot harder on the gas, gaining speed as he took a sharp turn into the alley. The sirens blared behind him, the flashing lights lighting up the alley.

"One."

Taehyung stared where the police care was driving.

"Two."

A deep breath.

"..Three."

Taehyung opened the door widely, the wind blowing his hair in many different directions. Without giving another thought, he looked over at the police car and grinned behind his mask, diving forward as far out as he could.

Taehyung made sure to hold his arms protectively over his head, his body colliding with the ground with a hard thud. As he was sent rolling, Taehyung could hear the police car screeching to a halt and backing up at a quick pace.

He breathed heavily once he fell on his back, pain shooting through his body. As soon as he heard the car come to a stop and the door slam shut, he put on his acting face.

"My back.. fuck." Taehyung moaned in pain, bringing his scraped hand to touch his side, purposefully trembling his hand. "I can't- agh!"

The policeman slowly made his way over, his gun aimed at the ground. His knees were half bent, the male clearly being cautious. "Keep your hands where I can see them!"

Taehyung coughed harshly, ignoring the demand and bringing his finger up to point behind the officer. "He's- shit, he's behind you." In that moment, the officer had barley glanced behind himself, when Taehyung sat up in a flash and pulled his own gun out, aiming it at the officer's head.

Luckily for Taehyung, Jimin's vehicle had come back around into the alley, so his claim wasn't a flat out lie. In that split second that the officer realized what had happened, it was too late.

The silencer on the gun made the shot barley audible, Taehyung's gaze cold as he watched the man fall on his back. He cleared his throat as the vehicle came to a stop in front of him, getting to his feet with a slight wince and walking over to the passenger door.

"Are we late?" He asked as he sat down, shutting the door and peeling his mask off, his hands slightly scraped up.

It was obvious he would have some bruising tomorrow, but otherwise, Taehyung felt rather good for jumping out of a vehicle. Yeah, he had some scrapes and cuts, but those weren't even considered wounds in his book. No broken or strained bones? Fabulous, fine to continue.

Jimin chuckled, raising a brow. "No, actually. We'll be on time if we can arrive in ten. You good?"

Taehyung buckled his belt once again, already digging in the glovebox for a burner phone. After all, they needed someone to clean their mess up. More like, make it look like a suicide or a drive by, but that's irrelevant. He merely glanced at his friend, barley laughing. "Just peachy."

"Are you sure we can even get in? Shit, I know I work here, but-"

"That's your problem! You overthink things, man. Look, remember who this is for. You said his name was Yoongi, right? It's for him." Jungkook smiled, clapping Aron on the shoulder as he pulled his gloves on. "Now, just hand me the bobby pin.. unless you want to do it?"

Aron bit his lower lip, his heart pounding against his chest. Slowly, he shook his head, handing the bobby pin over to his friend. It had been a few days since they decided to work together and find Yoongi.

This was day one. Breaking into the bank, which was closed down currently. After the crime scene had been investigated, the police apparently gathered all the evidence they could find, and forced the bank to be shut down for the time being.

Jungkook smirked, though it only lasted a second before it disappeared. He grabbed the pin, getting down on one knee and preparing to jam it in the lock, when he faked a gasp and stilled his movements.

"Shit, Aron, we forgot something!" Jungkook frowned, turning to look up at the male, who was shining a flashlight at the lock. "It's a bank. There's going to be alarms going off if we enter."

Aron cursed, turning away and rubbing at his forehead. This was stressful. "How the fuck are we supposed to get in?" He nearly shouted, slapping his hand on his knee.

Grinning, Jungkook put on his best smile for Aron. "The ID and keys. Hyun-suk's, specifically. We need to uh, break into his house." He admitted sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck.

Aron gave Jungkook a weird look, shrugging off the odd feeling and nodding quickly. "Alright, yeah.. yeah you're right. He lives a few blocks from here, we can do it tonight, but we can't get caught. This job is- well, I need it."

Sighing in relief, Jungkook stood up and clapped Aron's shoulder. He breathed out, "Come on, let's go." As they walked down the side walk, Jungkook slipped a mask over the lower half of his face, his clothing and accessories doing a good job at covering most of his face.

The air was cool, the sky not providing any light source. The sidewalk was lit up with street lights, in between every light a bit of darkness.

It's funny. People typically say the darkness is where the most can happen. That's usually because you can't see.. the area is unknown. You don't know what's in it.

That's what scares people more than the color. The unknown, not knowing what or who is in that darkness.. yet, Aron wasn't even in danger by being outside at such an ungodly hour.

But by the person he stood beside, he would never be truly safe. That's something he wouldn't come to realize for a while.
