Sweat beaded along Y/N's brow as he worked himself to the brim. Day after day Y/N had trained, reaching towards horizons of his quirk that he didn't even know existed. He refused to stop his training no matter how hard it hurt, because Nezu had put his faith in Y/N, a complete stranger, and he wasn't going to let him down. He had to do well in both the physical and written portions of the exam, people had to believe he had earned his spot in 1-A. But he also had to prove to himself that he deserved it. He not only trained his body, but his mind as well. Y/N had started schooling himself on things he once deemed 'useless'. He didn't like the feeling that he was wasting his time learning such things, but he was willing to push those feelings aside if it meant he could become a hero. He made do with what he had, sparring against shades that he created to attack him. He worked his senses, focusing in on the small details of one thing, until he could remember it by heart. It became easier with time, his eyes becoming sharper to detail, his ears more keen to the smallest of sounds. That paired with his already good sense of smell made observing the things around him a breeze. He upped his sparring sessions, more shades, less space to move around, tying weights onto his arms and legs. Even going as far as to blind fold himself as a test of his senses. He worked on his stealth, sneaking around buildings without the use of his quirk, he steadily moved up to different buildings, each one having better security than the last. It was a bit illegal, but what were they going to do, arrest a dead man? Nezu had only entered his identity into the quirk registration, Y/N didn't have a birth certificate. He technically still didn't exist. But he decided against getting reckless, because the time would come that he would be in the government's system like everyone else.

Faster than Y/N would have liked, the ten month training period was at a close and the entrance exam was tomorrow morning. Lying down on his bed Y/N began his now normal routine of overthinking everything he had trained for. Had he trained his body enough, or did he train it too much and now his quirk is out of proportion to how strong his body is? Or was it the other way around, maybe he was wrong about both and he didn't train his mind enough, now he was going to be strong but stupid. Y/N sighed in frustration and rested one arm across his eyes in a desperate attempt to block out those thoughts. This was the one night he truly needed to be well rested, this one night is all he asked. Y/N's wish was granted as he slowly drifted off into sleep, the exhaustion of the day finally catching up to him.

                                                                                   2nd Person

You woke up to the sound of the blaring alarm from the clock on your bed stand. Groaning, you looked at the clock that read 5:00 am. Another loud beep assaulted your ears and on instinct you smacked your alarm clock, shattering it to pieces with your newly found strength. Sliding your hand down your face you sighed at the thought of now having to buy a new clock. Today was the day, you got to fully test your new skills, all your training would pay off today. You swung your legs over the edge of your bed, and began getting ready for the day. Since you didn't really have a school gym uniform to wear you just threw on some black workout pants and a tight fitting workout shirt, making sure it had a high collar and sleeves to conceal your tattoo. Putting on your mask and slipping on a light jacket, you left your apartment. You had gotten up considerably early, and it was still only 6:00 so you decided to take a small stop at the beach. Perhaps you would see the small green haired boy still training. Thinking about your most recent memory of the beach, you quickly traveled there and almost immediately your ears picked up on a yell that seemed to be coming from above. Looking up at the railing of the beach you saw the boy. He was standing on the trash pile, yelling at the top of his lungs.

Well he certainly has a lot of energy

That is until he started falling, though not even a split second later, All Might had caught the boy. It would have been fine for you to stay here,if it weren't for the fact that you were now out in the open. Stepping back into the shadow that you traveled to in order to get here, you returned home. Deciding you would walk to school like a normal person so as to not use your quirk anymore than you had to. Every little bit counts when it comes to exams like this. You walked down any street you felt like, not having to be in any hurry to actually get to UA. You were still a few hours early after all, your hands messed and tugged at the hem of your shirt, not out of nervousness, but pure boredom. Resisting the urge to mess around with nearby shadows as you often did. You focused on the smells, feelings, and sounds around you as you close your eyes, giving yourself the challenge to navigate yourself around without the use of your sight. You went on like this for about an hour, until you also got bored of that. But now, with yourself successfully tangled in the depths of the inner city and an hour to get to school you started retracing your steps to get to where you had closed your eyes. Deciding to walk to UA from there. It was a small challenge to remember each turn that you had taken, but eventually familiar sights started to flood your eyes and you knew you had made it back. You continued your long walk until you saw the front entrance to UA. You kept your head low, hands in your pockets and a glare on your face that could kill. You looked up in front of you originally planning on observing potential competition, quirks often alter a person's appearance. But in this instance you looked up just in time to see a green mop of hair trip and start falling, yet again. He was caught by a nice looking brown haired girl who apologized for using her quirk on him without his permission. The boy stuttered out a 'reply' though no words ever formed. The girl excused herself to leave and left, the boy still struggling to form a coherent sentence.
