As she walked through the forest, Victoria pulled her hair up into a bun. She glanced around through squinted eyes, searching for a specific wildflower that she wanted to add to her journal.
The idea had occurred to her late at night and she didn't want to have to wait until the morning so she had snuck past the crowd of kids that were pranking each other around the halls and pushed past the group that were telling ghost stories by the dorm entrance.
She sighed, unable to see anything in the dark as she reached for her phone. With a swipe she turned the torch on and crouched down to inspect the flowers. She was started by the sound of a branch cracking not too far away.
"Who's there?" She quickly turned around in the direction of the noise, shining her torch around, but was unable to see anyone. "Stupid kids," she muttered as she turned back to search for the flowers. The sound of quick steps coming in her direction caught her attention. She rapidly got up and turned around. Never in her her life had she thought that she would see such a thing. She ducked down as the huge bunny swung an axe at her, missing and hitting the tree that was behind her.
Without giving it a second thought, Victoria bolted away towards the dorms, as fast as her legs could carry her, glancing behind her as she did. Every time she turned around she saw the Bunny Man, chasing after her with the axe ready to strike again.
As she finally reached the group of kids, she was unable to speak, leaning over as she struggled to catch her breath. She gasped slightly as she turned to look behind her once again, just to see that there was no longer a bunny Man.
The next morning, she struggled to explain to the police that it wasn't just a prank but they were unwilling to believe.
Only two nights had passed, she was still startled and refused to leave her room but on her way to the shower, at the end of the hallway, there he stood.
Mr. Bunny Man, axe in hand. Victoria screamed for help but since there was no one there she ran.
Early in the morning they found her dead, with an axe on her back as she hid under the bed.
