Toby: POV
While Connor and Maddy play for a bit in the yard Spencer and I are sitting on the porch.
"When should we tell the kids?" I ask.
"Probably when I'm farther along," she says and I agree.
"Sounds good," I say and she smiles.
"How long has it been since we saw Melissa and Alice?" She asks.
"Some time," I answer.
"Yeah, I'll call them to come over and the girls!!! I haven't seen them in a while!!" She says and I realize that she has been putting off time for herself.
"Invite the girls and the guys over tonight, but we should probably keep the whole pregnancy thing to ourselves for now, you haven't even had an appointment yet," I explain.
"Yeah, but I'm going for one today can you watch the kids?" She asks.
"Yeah, I guess I can," I say. As we talk about our plans for the future Maddy comes up and interrupts.
"Mommy, I want yummies!!!!" Maddy demanded.
"I'm sorry did you hear something?" She says to me.
"No I don't think so," I say back with a smirk.
"Please!!!!" Maddy says impatiently.
"That's better," Spencer Said and brought her inside. She's a wonderful mother and I love her so much.
"Toby!!!" Spencer screams in pain. I run inside while she's on the floor grasping her stomach. Next thing I knew they were loading her into an ambulance and I strapped the kids in and followed. When we all get to the hospital.
