This was the first completed comic that I ever created. It is considered fanart, specifically a two page one-shot of an interaction between a cannon character and a non-cannon character.
Based off the title, you can only assume that there were certain difficulties with the creation of this comic.
Planning: Creating a comic is a long process. This comic was created under a strict timetable. I had two weeks to complete it. During the planning process, I assessed my available resources, potential distractions and, most importantly, experience. Remember this is the first comic I ever created. I didn't know how much easier it was to plan out comics digitally before transferring it to traditional ink. I spent an entire three days planning it out and asking around for tips. At the end, I still didn't have a clue what I was going to do.
Improvisation: This comic became the most improvised and uncoordinated art piece I have ever done. I just drew one panel at a time and hoped the format would work out. In summary, I winged it.
Colours: You may notice the lack of colours. There is a reason other than laziness for this. Through my limited research, I learned that certain comic styles do not use colour. I read some of these to see what they were like and I rather enjoyed it. Though, I still wanted to colour something. In the end, I used highlighters to create a glowing effect with all the bio lights to create this night-time feel in the piece.
Completion: After a year, my experience has grown immensely from amateur to elite. There are many things I could change in this piece but am no longer capable of redrawing it.
Why? Well, upon completing the piece a day before the deadline, the one who assigned me to this task asked if they could keep it for future reference. Of course I said yes. I didn't know that something like this would be well loved and commemorated by my future self at the time. I gave it away for free.

Silent Shadow Inhales* Exhales*
Megatron walks out on to the balcony overlooking a sector of Kaon.
Silent Shadow Megatronus?
Megatron Silent... I don't want you to fight tonight.
Silent Shadow turns towards him.
Silent Shadow W-what?! I realize you worry about me, Megatronus, b-but if you're going to change the tides, I need to be there too.

Megatron I know you want to be beside me, but it's more important for you to stay, you need to heal, Megatron gazes at a deep wound on Silent Shadow's side. and I need you to be around to rule Cybertron in equality with me.
Silent Shadow bows her helm.
