Inspiration: Illustrating concept art (no matter what pose) is always fun for me because of my love for adding realism and science to my ideas through drawings instead of explaining it in exact terms. Concept art is used as a visual representation of a design, idea and/or mood for use in different media types. Upon undertaking a large project to create a fan made Transformers continuity, I decided that instead of explaining each character through words every time someone (or something) asked, I wanted to be able to show a drawing to explain it for me.
Analysis of a specific piece: I have given one example of concept art that illustrates an original character using a certain style of concept art. The piece is considered a scenario concept. It illustrates Silent Shadow's personality in a certain situation.
