I do not have a solid plot line for this potential book cover

I do not have a solid plot line for this potential book cover.

I will say this once.

Do not steal my book cover title and create a story of your own with similar characters.

Understood? Good.
Now, back to story time.

Inspiration:
In the past, I have always been fascinated in the idea of humans being able to fly with the help of wings.
After a few years worth of research, I knew almost everything about the aerodynamics and principles of flight.
Cool, right?
Well, when you know something, it won't leave your processor until you start losing circuits and data packets. In this case, it started to leak into my steady servo that sometimes does things without consent from my coherent thoughts.
Recently, I started noticing that I was drawing miniature sketches and blueprints all over the place.
Whether it be sketchbooks, notebooks, walls, printed assignments or random windows. Though, I never drew something accidental digitally.
All these drawings resembled a female humanoid with wings. you can see in the first drawing at the beginning of this chapter what I mean by all of them.

The beginning of Jeanette Gloria:
Jeanette Gloria is the result of random thoughts and my obsessive nature while researching these ideas.

(Incoming scientific rant)

Through research, I learned that an average human male would need three times the amount of muscle power along the back, arms and abdomen in order to successfully hoist themselves into the air without difficulties.
Then I started thinking, what about the female body type? You never even tried to discover that did you, squishy fleshy?
I did my own research instead of searching online for someone else's discoveries.
With the help from voluntary human participants, I learned that the human female body types do not have the same muscular build or squared off conformation as males. We tried four-limbed flying and six-limbed flying, neither yielded beneficial results.
In conclusion, they are much lighter but require more muscle power than physically possible for their body type if they plan to fly for more than a few minutes.

(Scientific rant number one has finished)

After that, I started thinking about how different the results would be if a human was born with fully adapted wings and a body that developed to accommodate for the appendages.
Of course, you couldn't really do any solid research since humanity is not technologically advanced enough to accomplish something that complex.
This idea continued to swarm around my thoughts, until finally, I decided to embrace all the drawings and blueprints in order to create a solid 'theory' for a new character.

Our character's timeline:
Jeanette Gloria and her accompanying brother were born sometime before a dystopian era.
Consider it an alternate universe where the Decepticons managed to take control of Earth and humanity as a whole.
Therefore, we will assume they have extremely advanced technology and human evolution caused Jeanette Gloria to grow wings for flight.

The final drawing:
The drawing is titled The Power of Flight.
It is considered a book cover and will potentially be published if I decide to follow through with writing my ideas out for the worlds to see.
In the drawing, Jeanette Gloria is pictured as a confident and skilled fighter with armour that covers almost her entire body. This armour is called an exoskeleton. It is extremely heavy and makes flying difficult, even for Jeanette Gloria. To ease off stress and create flexibility in the exoskeleton, she and her brother engineered a portable and waste-free nuclear reactor that gives unlimited power to the motor functions and shielding of the exoskeleton.
I know, lots of big words suited for someone with good vocabulary skills.

Anyways, colour choice is based off of available resources.
In a dystopian era, it is no doubt difficult to retrieve expensive and advanced technology. Food is just as difficult to find. So, after coming up with the theory of them being scavengers living outside of the government's rule, these two used whatever they could to create their exoskeletons.
Jeanette Gloria has a velvet cape that serves as a blanket or heat source, as well as two patched up (not vegan) leather pouches that serve as holsters for weapons or to carry items hands-free during conflict.
There is actually a lot of recycled plastic involved in their armour's designs. It is smelted down and combined with aerogel and other light solids and metals to create the outermost layer of her weathered armour.
The frame itself is made of metal rods and hydraulic pistons. They are the heaviest parts of the compact system.

What did you think?

Enjoying story time?
I hope I inspired you to research anatomy and realistic effects of physical appearance before you plan out future drawings.
