May kept running. She messed up so badly, she was never going back. How could she? If she ever did, there would probably be wanted posters everywhere, and she would not be able to get away this time.

Everything was so messed up. She should have stayed in her house. Everything would have been fine. Ms. Hagimire wouldn't have thought she put the bees in her house, she wouldn't have been chased by an angry mob, and she wouldn't have made someone bleed. Yet, her stupidity got the best of her.

May ran so far away from the village. It felt like her feet were burning. She finaly stopped running and took a few breaths. When May looked up, she saw herself in a forest. The trees blocked the sun, making everything dark and gloomy. That was how everything felt, dark and gloomy.

May sat down, leaning againced one of the trees. She lay her head back on the trunk, as she let tears make thier way down her cheek. She sat there crying for about ten minutes, waiting. She didn't know what she was waiting for, but she was still waiting.

It felt like forever before she got up again. She needed to figure out a way to survive. Then, May noticed something that made her heart stop. The sun was going down.
"Dammit!" May exclaimed. She looked around for something to build a shelter with. There wasn't much around except trees. So, she did the obvious thing. She started climbing.

It was the hardest thing in the world! May couldn't figure out how squirrels did it. This was her only option, so she had to keep trying. She used the branches to hold onto, and there was a little owl hole that she put her foot in. This tecnique helped her, and she eventually got up the tree.

May rested on a big branch near the top of the tree, and hung her bag on a smaller branch that was connected to the bigger branch. May used the leaves on the tree as a pillow, and grabbed her blanket that she brought. she was ready for the night. All that she needed now was for all the bugs to leave her alone while she was sleeping.

It was a rough night for May. She tossed and turned all night long, not able to get much sleep. She could not get her mind off what had happened the day before, it haunted her. She layed on the branch in the big tree for a while. She lay there and thought. She thought about how she was going to survive, and she thought about what will happen to her out in the wild. She thought about whether she could ever go back to her home town, and she thought about regret. She had regreted so much. Her life was becoming a big wild mess, and she regreted it all.

Finaly May came out from the tree. It was a warm day with a warm breeze. It felt good on May's cold skin. It had been freezing that night, and it seemed to warm up that morning. May looked around to see if there was some berries somewhere around so that she didn't have to waste the food in her bag, but she had no luck. So, May decided to go hungry, and eat in the afternoon.

May had nothing else to do except explore, so she walked around the forest a bit. May didn't find much on her exploration. She saw animals, and bugs, and trees. Basically what you usually find in a forest. Then May stumbled upon a beautiful purple flower, big and bright. It was probably the most beautiful flower May had seen in her life. As she ventured further into the unknown territory, she found something that was very much useful to her. In front of her, there was a big river, calm and peaceful. She decided to leave the river alone for now, just because she hadn't check the surrounding area to see if it was safe. Now that she was in the wild, she would have to be extra careful.

The trip into the forest had been successful, so May decided to go back to the tree. Though she had one tiny problem. She had no idea where she was.
