We drove over together to Holland's house. We entered, and everyone was sitting in the living room. Nikki, Dom, Harry, Sam and Paddy all stood up, waiting for the news. "She said yes!" Tom yells in excitement and everyone cheers.
"Finally," Harry says, walking over to us, giving us a hug.
"It's about time," Sam adds, followed by a hug. Everyone congratulates us, and Nikki pulls me to the side.
"You have no idea how nervous he was for this. He came to me and Dom about a month ago, and he was shaking, it was adorable," Nikki says, and we both chuckle. I can't believe Tom was so scared. I would never say no to him.
"Well I can't wait to be officially a part of this family," I say.
"Oh sweetie. You have always been a part of this family." I smiled, and hugged her again. We joined everyone again, and we stayed there for a bit. It was really late, so we would tell Harrison tomorrow.
"We should probably get home, and get some sleep," Tom says, and we leave to go back to our apartment. Let's just say, we didn't automatically go to sleep.
I woke up the next morning, in the arms of my new fiance. His mouth is slightly parted and his chest is rising and falling at a constant speed. He is softly snoring, which makes me chuckle. His curls are messy and are across his forehead. He is beautiful.
I kiss his forehead lightly, and get out of bed. I slip on one of Tom's oversized shirts and a pair of shorts. I walked out into the kitchen and started to make tea and pancakes. I put the pancakes on a plate and pour tea into a mug. I realized Tom is still not up and I should probably wake him up.
I walk into our room, seeing Tom in the same position as I left him. I sat down on the bed next to him, and started kissing his cheek, trying to wake him up. He hums slightly and adjusts his position so he is facing me.
"What a great way to wake up," Tom says, which makes me chuckle.
"Well there is also tea and pancakes in the kitchen waiting for you," I say, and his eyes widen and jump out of bed. I giggle at his actions, and follow him to the kitchen.
We started to eat the pancakes when I said, "Haz is coming over at 12 for lunch."
"Fantastic. I can't wait to tell him," Tom replies. We finished our pancakes, and continued our day, waiting for Harrison to arrive. For some reason, I was nervous, but this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm going to marry the love of my life and nothing is going to ruin it.
We heard a knock on the door, and Tom ran over to answer it. He's so excited, it's adorable. Anything he does is adorable. "Hey mate," Harrison says and they both hug.
"Hey, come in," Tom says. They both walk in and sit on the couch. "Uh, we wanted to talk to you about something."
"Did you guys break up?" Harrison says. Why would he say something like that?
"W-what? No, actually the opposite," Tom says. "I proposed, and she said yes."
"You what?" Harrison says. He stands up, but he doesn't look happy at all. "You guys are getting married?"
"Usually people are more excited. What's wrong?" I ask.
"Is it because I didn't tell you? I just didn't want anyone to know, for it to be a surprise," Tom added.
"No, nothing is wrong," Harrison says. He was obviously mad, or upset. If this was a cartoon, there would be smoke coming out of his ears, and his face would be redder than a tomato.
"You can tell us anything," I say, trying to calm him down.
"I can't believe it," Harrison mumbles.
"What?" Tom and I say in unison.
"I never thought it would get this far. I always thought you guys would break up sooner or later. I should have never let it go this far," Harrison says, mumbling the last part. Now this is getting me really angry.
"Excuse me?" I say, getting up from my seat as well.
"Of course I don't want you guys to be together. One of you is going to break the other's heart. Then neither of you will ever talk to me again because I'm connected to both of you," Harrison says.
"Why can't you ever think positive for once?" I say. Whenever someone bust my chops, I start to get very protective.
"It's not that I'm not thinking positive. I'm thinking realistically."
"So you don't think me and Tom are going to last?" I ask, and no one says anything, not even Tom. "Okay, well if you honestly think that then you can go."
"It was like you were reading my mind," Harrison says. He immediately walks to the door, and is now out of the apartment. I was replaying in my head of what just happened, and I realize, Tom didn't say anything. Tom didn't even try to defend our relationship at all.
"Love, he will come around. Don't let it ruin this," Tom says, trying to calm me down.
"Why didn't you say anything?" I ask. Tom just looks at me with confusion, and tells me to continue. "You didn't say anything to Haz. Why didn't you say anything to him, after he just said that we were a bad couple."
"I didn't want him to get mad at me. I just don't want anymore drama then there already is," Tom replies.
"So you're just going to let him say that stuff?" We both just sit there in silence. I can feel the tears running down my face. My own fiance can't support our relationship. "Well, uh, I'm going to go." I walk to our room and grab some clothes, my wallet and stuff like that.
Tom follows me to the room. "Love, I'm sorry. Please don't go," Tom says, tears in his eyes as well.
"I just need to go and clear my head Tom. Please, don't follow me," I say. I walk past him, tears streaming down my face. I have nowhere to go. My two friends in London are Tom and Harrison and I'm mad at both of them now.
The perfect place to go to is my parents place. The only bad thing is that the Hollands are next door. But my parents are in Tokyo for a business trip for the rest of the month, so I wouldn't be bothered by them, so that's where I go.
I don't know when I will go back to my apartment, but I just need some time.
