Sincerity, the quality of being free from pretense, deceit, or hypocrisy.
Can you really say that to a person who's entire life is influenced by a childish lie?

Andrew's Father Funeral
A piece of paper, given to Andrew by his parents, their last will, originally made by his mother 10 years ago when she passed away, Andrew's father kept it away from him until his passing. His mother wrote,
"When you give your life into something sincerely, your soul will remain in the work you do, and thus my little Andrew, my soul remains here, in this book, so that I could always be with the ones I love the most in this world."
To his childish mind full of grief, Andrew lied to himself that day, he insisted that if he spread the soul of his mother, she would return back to the world, and thus begin his life driven with deceit, fooled by himself. However, his life was cheerful, truly ignorant is bliss, he convinced himself to study hard in English Literature so that he may one day publish the book, the soul of his mother, his hard work paid off exactly like he envisioned, his work was published 2 years ago after he quitted his job as Lady Hana's tutor.
The day he finally released his book, what Andrew felt was disappointment, there is no sign of his mother, Andrew once again lied to himself, "the book is not received by enough people, I need more people to see it, then my mother would come back to me". Laura invited him to celebrate his book release, and they did, with Andrew laughing maniacally, Laura thought that Andrew was drunk and happy and so does everyone else who came to the celebration, only Andrew knew what it really felt like.
Andrew kept working hard, reaching out to bookstores around the island, creating fan signing events, everything to spread his book, even more, Laura was helping him from the start and on the 27th of September was the final day of a certain fan signing event, Laura was busy managing the event and that was when she got abducted, she didn't remember clearly how she got abducted but she went missing when she checked an unknown shipment to the event.
Upon reading the letter sent by Laura's abductor, Andrew realized that it was Lady Hana, He said to himself, "not yet, I am still pursuing my dream, I don't need to go back to her", distancing Hana from the only warmth she ever treasured, Andrew kept dwelling on the idea of spreading the book.
The idea of tv serialization struck him when one of his fans asked about it, his face drop dead, he reacted spontaneously "Genius !!" repeatedly and he wanders off and tried asking his friends about it, and now he is obsessed with that idea, an even more efficient way to spread the soul of his mother.
He convinced himself and he has fallen into the deeps of deceit
"Yes, this is it, this is the deciding step, I am sure my mother will return, her soul will be spread everywhere."

The sun began to settle down as nighttime approaches, Celyn looked through the window of the car to enjoy the sun sets on the distance, she opened her bag and took out the sweet rolls she packed, she handed two of the sweet rolls to the front seat slowly, "sister let's eat the sweet rolls", Aira looked at her sister with a colorless expression, she forced herself to smile and she took the sweet rolls and handed one of it to Laura, still her eyes on the road, Laura took the sweet roll and ate it, one hand on the steer and the other slowly eating her sweet roll.
