536 likes themacauleyway When I was in fifth grade, I met this cute little girl who I started to have a little crush on. Then, I moved schools and that was that. High school came around, and I found her again. She became this beautiful young woman and I was so in awe of her. We became friends, but I silently was pining for her the entire time. I wanted her. I wanted to be with her. I wanted to hold her and kiss her and call her mine. But, with fear of rejection and fear of losing her, I never asked her out. Then, college came around. We were in a completely different playing field and we went to two different colleges across the country from each other but I still wanted her. So, I swallowed my ego and pride and I finally got the courage to ask her out (after being pushed into doing it might I add). It was the best decision I could have done. Now, I stand (or should I say kneel) here, and I'm finally getting the courage to ask her to spend the rest of our lives with me.
