The official last day of university for the year. Their third year had already passed by so quickly, it's hard for Keonhee to believe that next year he will really be a senior. A senior that has lost sight of most of his colors, minus the variations of red he can still see.

Keonhee sighs to himself as he sat at the fountain in the front of the school. He sat on the edge of the stone wall, surrounding the water. He poked at the water in the fountain, only the tip of his finger getting wet as he watched the gray water sway and move slightly at the action. He presses his lips together tightly as he finally tears his eyes away from the water to look out at the campus around him. 3 long years of suffering, and probably lots more to come.

He watched as people hugged people goodbye, people leaving and turning their back from the university and never looking back. Keonhee's kinda pissed he still has another year here— Keonhee's eyes drifted to the two, wrapped around each other, who had just exited the front doors of the school.

The couple, Leedo and Xion, had their eyes glued on to each other, a fond glint in each of their eyes. Leedo had leaned over a bit, kissing Xion's head gently,

" I wish I could marry you right now.. " Leedo had muttered as he and Xion passed by the fountain. Keonhee had turned his face away, making sure Leedo hadn't seen him when he heard Leedo's words. He hears Xion chuckle, a few airy words before they are out of earshot.

Once they were gone, Keonhee finally had realized that he had held his breath. He exhales quickly, a progressive ringing in his ears growing louder and louder to the boy. He shuts his eyes tightly, a painful sensation surging through his head. He takes another sharp breath, reaching up to his head and rubs his fingers against his forehead in a massaging motion.

His head felt like it was getting crushed under pressure, and his heart felt like it was getting teared right out of his chest. He feels the same burning, painful feeling of tears in his eyes. They didn't feel the exact same though. It felt like part of his own life is trying to split away from him.

He turns towards the fountain, hunching over the water so nobody could see his pain. It almost was unbearable. The pain felt like when you just got stabbed in the eyes, while your heart is just getting pulled out of your chest. And all Keonhee could sit idly, letting the pain envelop him as a whole.

It wasn't long til he felt the prick of tears finally making its way to the surface of his eyes, and suddenly, all he could see was red. Red poured down from his eyes like tears, falling into the fountain below him. The fountain's water was stained red, the red coloring spreading throughout the water. He could hear faint gasps and whispers around him, but they drowned out of his ears as horror took over his features.

These tears weren't like the tears from the last 5 times, no, it was more than that. He could still hear the gentle jingles everytime the liquid fell, and the soft sparkles in the substance that fell from his eyes. However, what he was crying wasn't even tears. It was blood. He could tell by the way the substance stained his fingers when he went to brush it away.

Lee Keonhee was crying sparkly blood. That's something you don't see or hear everyday-

Keonhee let's out a sudden scream of pain, his hands moving to grip the fabric of his shirt over his heart. People watched with worried eyes, but none went to help the poor boy. Keonhee remained alone through his pain.

His chest finally felt like his heart was ripped from him, that surge of pain being a feeling enough of knowing he is officially heartbroken. The emotions he once felt before were slowly becoming something he could barely think or relate to. Every last bit of the person he once was drained away from.

The blood pouring from his eyes eventually came to a stop, Keonhee panting as he kept his head down to stare at the now-red fountain water. He couldn't feel a thing, and nor could he even tell the water was red anymore. It was gray. Everything was gray. Everything felt gray. He couldn't feel the pulsing of his blood rushing through his body, from his heart to his limbs. He couldn't feel the way his body could heat up at the simple thought of Leedo. He couldn't feel the pain anymore.

He quickly stood up, backing away from the fountain, then making a run for the gates of the school. He couldn't feel his heart against his chest, which in different circumstances, would beat so fast it's like his heart was begging for him to stop running. However, he couldn't. He couldn't feel the pain anymore.

His mind had flashed back to Leedo as he ran from the school. Yet once again, he couldn't feel his heart pounding against his chest. Heck, he didn't even FEEL like he even had feelings for the older male anymore.

He had finally come to a stop once he reached a crosswalk. He took a deep breath, standing next to the red stop sign, which was now a gray stop sign to Keonhee, to catch his breath. He stood there for a moment, turning his head left and right to check for cars, then walking forward on to the road.

His ears began to ring again, tuning out the rest of the sounds around him. He didn't care though. Nothing mattered anymore. He couldn't feel any emotions anymore, leaving little care for what might happen to him in his mind. He didn't feel the point of just..existing anymore. Everything Keonhee did revolved around Leedo, and Leedo alone. He practically lived off the fact that maybe one day, Leedo would love him back. Every choice, every word, every action was to move towards Leedo loving him. But it never was going to happen.

He lost what he longs for most, love. His life was dull, colorless, without the little flame in his heart that stayed lit from other people's love for him. Now it was burnt out, the love in his heart was gone for good, and that's how it's going to stay now.

Keonhee was so lost in his own head, he didn't hear the sounds of a car nearing his slumped body. The car tried to stop, slamming on the breaks as they honked their horn over and over again. They couldn't bring a car to a stop though, and right as Keonhee lifted his head, they collided. Keonhee's body was slammed back, his limp body hitting the pavement like a rag doll.

The car had finally managed to stop a few feet away from where Keonhee had been thrown to. The person driving the car got out quickly, running over to Keonhee as they tried to get any sign of consciousness.

Keonhee was too far gone though. His ears were ringing louder than ever, and his sight was no better. The gray scenery was blurry, and everything came out as a blob. His eyes felt heavy and his head hurt. He couldn't even grasp the situation that had just happened. He only felt tired, tired of everything. Tired of the amount of time he put in to loving Leedo with no sign of him ever loving Keonhee back, tired of the gray world he had started living, tired of the remorse Xion felt, he was tired of it all.

Maybe now, he could finally find his peace.

His eyes rolled back as he took one last breath before his eyes finally closed shut.
