7. Coolest girl in school

I woke up and looked at the time.

"Oh No!! Its 8am! I'm gonna be late for school!" I exclaimed.

Sam woke up beside me and rubbed his eyes, "Its ok babes I can drive you."

I rushed out of bed and threw on a grey sweater and some blue jeans that were ripped at the ankles. If my grandma saw me she would freak out!

Sam and I pulled up to the school in his Mercedes G-Wagon. I started to head out but he stopped me.

"Oi, let me walk you in luv" he offered.

I tentatively agreed and he took my hand. As we walked through the doors every head in the packed hallway turned to us.

"Oh. My. Fucking. God." a voice screeched from down the hall, "Its SL4W!!!!"

Emmaleighn, the coolest girl in school, came running down the halls as chaos descended. Everyone at school knew Sam. He was known for making the best videos on youtube.com (and his dreamy eyes). Emmaleighn threw herself at Sam. I could barely contain my rage.. She smirked evilly back at me. Gr she makes me so angry. Before she could do anything Sam took a step away from her.

"Pardon me" Sam said putting his arm around me, "but I've got a girlfriend innit" 

Everyone in the hallway let out a gasp. 'hes dating her???' 'omg no way!!' 'wow shes so cool' 'can i have his autograph??' people whispered

"You're dating HER???!?!" Emmaleighn turned bright red. "B-but... she's a FREAK!!" 

"No," Sam said defiantly, "She's perfect"

This pushed her over the edge. She launched at me and started punching me into the ground. My nose bled all over the place. I hear Sam call out to me

"Oi whats all this then??" he exclaimed.

 For the first time in my life I decided to fight back. I pushed Emmaleighn off me and into a locker. She screamed and fell to the ground.

Sam rushed to my side, "Wag1 u alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine.." I said, out of breath.

"Im glad you're ok" he said as he pulled me into an embrace.

BANG

Then silence. Sam fell to his knees. I looked down and screamed.  A patch of blood was spreading across his chest.  Behind him Emmaleighn's hands shook as she gripped a gun tightly. 

"NO!" she yelled, "It was supposed to kill you not him!!"

Before she could say anything else the police arrived and escorted her into the back of their car.

I looked back down at Sam. 

"I love you Alex," he whispered weakly.

"I love you too," I couldn't stop the tears from falling. It felt like my heart was being ripped from my chest

The love of my life was about to be gone.. I could see the life slowly leaving his beautiful brown eyes as he lay writhing on the floor. I leaned in for one last kiss as he breathed his final breath.
