Amarachi Onuh known as maramartha here on wattpad and also nicknamed by friends, Mara; was born on the 17th of October.

She got her first degree from the university of Nigeria, Nsukka and her second degree at African University of Science and Technology.

Her favourite colour is Maroon. Her relationship status is complicated, although she has been in a relationship before, now she's single and unwilling to mingle.

Her hobbies are: looking for trouble, annoying/spamming her friends, reading, experimenting with different recipes or DIYs, binge watching YouTube videos, tagging or sharing funny memes with friends. She likes IG explore page, don't hold it against her.

She is the writer of one of the most renowned Nigerian books here on Wattpad titled: One Friday Evening.

One Friday Evening is the first book in The Weekend Series. The second one is titled; White Hat Playboy.

Her other work is Jumoke; a short story and her very first work here on Wattpad.

Just like every other author, she also has her challenges and they include;
Perfectionism! Since  she wants her story to be 💯, she doesn't post until she feels good about it.

Well, that's what happens behind the scene before she finally post.

She also said she doesn't know about other writers but her characters visits her in her dream, they invade her dreams, it's a good and bad thing. It's definitely challenging.

According to her; she said this are what motivates her to write;
Sometimes, the readers comments, it's the best part about writing on Wattpad. Then talking to your fellow writers helps too. Or even random people, I talk to my friends about an idea I have for my story. I have noticed that discussing the ideas with my friends makes it more sensible (I don't know if that's the word I'm looking for here).

There are a lot of people she's known from Wattpad and she cannot begin to list them but her favourite according to her; My favourite (I think) should be the girl with the good hair, she knows herself and she will tell once she sees this.

The writers on Wattpad that she has learnt from are quite many but the one that stays with her is greenwriter. In her own words: Her stories does beautiful things to my soul, they take me to different places that I never want to come back from.

When asked about her role model, she says; I don't think I have one cos I don't role with models. You better laugh 😂😂

She said her favourite music changes with time but for now: I have two that should be topping the list. Ocean eyes by Billie Eilish and Surrender by Natalie Taylor. I have no idea what countries they are both from.

When asked about the friends she made on Wattpad, this was what she had to say;

Well, I did meet Teefabulous on Wattpad and I was like, wow, this girl is so stubborn, she's a goat, just like me. But she's a good person and she will defend you wherever even if you are wrong. I have made a lot of friends from Wattpad, I don't want to start mentioning names cos I don't think I'll recall all of them. It won't be fair to mention some and leave the others out. Some did give me a bad first impression 😑😒

She isn't much of a traveller, so when asked the country she'd love to go to; she mentioned Germany.
It's the first country on my list, then others can come after.

While I enjoy writing, I don't think I want to make it a career, a main career. It's something I love to do on the side but it helps me to make people and myself happy. The big dream is to be happy (most times), make a lot of money from doing what I love. The above statement was made by her when asked about her big dreams.

But she is of great belief that her writing will take her far. Still on this matter, she said; I already made a lot of friends, both Nigerians and non Nigerians through writing. I know that's just the beginning of the many good things to come from writing, so yeah, it will.

Her favourite quote is;
"Be careful what you tell a writer, it just might end up in a story."

The above quote was made up by her because, most of her stories have tidbits of real life events told to her by her friends. Some of them don't even know she's using what they told her to write blockbusters on Wattpad 🙈🙈

Her second favourite quote (and first non writing related quote) is this: Sometimes, to do nothing is often the best course of action but history wasn't made by those who do nothing. It's from a movie that she hasn't watched yet.

What she has to say to her Wattpad fans and friends are stated below.
Don't be a ghost reader.
wipes off invisible sweat

Now that that's out of the way, what do I have to say to me fans? Thank you for all your support so far. Instead of fans, I like to think that we are all a big family connected by the fictional worlds I create.

Also, on the days that it gets so bad or too much for you to handle, it's okay to talk to someone, it's okay to ask for help, it's okay to pray, it's okay to even sing offkey and dance half naked. It always gets better, slowly but surely.

When asked what people should expect from her, this was what she had to say.
Nothing. Don't expect nothing from me except frequent updates. I don't owe nobody nothing.
Don't mind me sha but seriously, don't expect nothing from me. Real life is already hard as it is, don't need anymore pressure.

Okay, this is me signing out; love, live and read. Don't ask me what that means cos I don't know either. Probably picked it up -and tweaked it- from a movie I don't remember now.

There you have it, a little info or should we say bio of one of the talented Nigerian writer from so many of them.
