"No. Absolutely not. No way am I moving to a small town, I belong here" said a young stubborn girl as her mother rolled her eyes.

"Okay Miss Hollywood. How about you make a show in the car on our way to Derry?"

"DERRY?! When you said we were moving to a small town I thought something else. Not Derry"

Y/n was reluctant to move. She absolutely hated the thought of living in a small town.

"Sunshine, Please. Think about our future. This city is great, and i'll cherish my memories from here, but, this job opportunity is just to good to not accept, and your father stoped paying child support. We need this"

Y/n hesitated before nodding her head.

"Not that long till I'm eighteen" murmured Y/n before she grabbed her most favourite belonging- A set of Polaroid photo album's, one for the past places she's lived.

Y/n mother started the car, while Y/n rushed to get her dog. A Weimaraner who was used to moving as well. "In the car Einstein" Y/n said loudly to get her dogs attention.

"Don't you just love this? mother and daughter road trips?"

Y/n didn't respond and instead closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. But, she couldn't rest. "I miss Steve"

"I know you do. Steve's doing just fine" Y/n's mother snapped. Y/n knows her mother didn't like speaking about her son

Hours went past, and Y/n and her mother finally arrived in the small, country town.

There was nothing to it besides kids riding their bikes. Y/n's mother stoped her car to read the map, and Y/n looked out to see a young boy around her age with dark auburn hair walking towards the area of the wealthy houses.

"Where you going B-B-Bill" said an older boy with a blond mullet.

"L-l-leave me alone B-Bowers"

"Not until you disappear you fuc-"

"LEAVE HIM ALONE ASSHOLE" shouted Y/n who was now standing  behind them

"Don't get involved, or you'll regret that"

Y/n's mother got out of the car to give Bowers a warning look. He sighed

"Next time you'll get what's coming to you" he said pushing Bill onto the floor roughly.

Y/n pulled out her hand to help him up. "I'm Y/n Harrington"

"I'm B-Bill"

"What's up with your stutter?"

"O-oh it's not-thing. It does g-go away"

Y/n smiled as Bill smiled.
