I added an easter egg- See if you can spot it.

-Tara:)

"So, is this something you weirdos do? Invite random people to the arcade, or is it just me?" Y/n asked as they walked into the noisy arcade

"Well, girl who lives next door to me, Bill wanted to invite you" The boy named Richie said

Y/n smiled at Bill, and he returned a small, awkward smile

"Are you going to come to our school?" Stanley asked as they put in coins for a photo booth machine

"Yeah, I am suppose to. But, my mom told me I could skip all this week and have the summer holiday to settle in"

"L-lucky. Where are y-you from?" Bill asked as the rest of the losers ran off to the Pac-Man game which was no longer hogged by anyone

"Oh, I'm from many places. I just moved here from LA, before that I lived in Time Square in New York, before that I lived in San Francisco, and before that I lived in Miami, and the one before that was Phoenix" Yn said.

"S-so you probably don't like D-Derry then"

"Yeah, this is a small town and I don't do well in small places"

"W-well summers out soon, a-and we have loads of plans, w-would you like to hang out with us"

"Who wouldn't?" Y/n said chucking, they were really nice.

"W-well, we're basically l-losers. You'd learn that s-sooner or later"

"So, do I become a loser for hanging out with you guys?"

"Y-yeah, I guess o-other people will think that o-of you"

"I've never been a loser before. This could be a cool experience"

Y/n and Bill laugh.

As the night went on, Y/n liked being a 'loser'. She did way more than just 'loose', she found out these friends were really like none she had ever had. They were losers, and they'd say it loud and proud, unlike her old friends who were so competitive and stuck-up. Her new friends didn't care about 'winning' or 'loosing', they cared about each other; they'd make fun of each other, but in the sort of way that would make you laugh for hours and hours.

So maybe, just maybe did Y/n like it here in Derry... Or it was probably just the people she met. Yes, that must be it! She still hated Derry, she just loved her new friends.

"See you tomorrow!" Bill and the losers shouted before going their separate ways.

Y/n liked this, she really did like this.

"Y-you'll come to school tomorrow, r-right? It's just one day, t-think of it as an school o-orientation day"

"Probably, depends on whether you'll be there"

"C-course I'll be t-there"

"Then you'll see me"

Y/n watched Bill ride his bike home, until he was too far to be spotted. She shut her front door and got startled by her mother.

"How was it? Are they bad friends?"

"It was great, I had fun. Oh, and one more thing mom, there are no such things as bad friends, or good friends. There are only friends, and friends care for each other"

"Yes, yes. I know. How's your idea for your book going?"

"I'm writing the a few random pages" Y/n said as she rushed upstairs.

Y/n was writing a book, she loved writing.

She wrote;

They were her friends, and her mother was wrong: They weren't bad friends. Maybe, she thought, there aren't such things as good friends or bad friends- maybe there are just friends. People who stand by you always when you're hurt and who help you not feel so lonely. Maybe they're worth dying for too, if that's what it has to be. No good friends. No bad friends. Only people you want, and need to be with: People who build their houses in your heat.

Y/n put her pen down and gasped at her story.

Yes, this is it. She just needed a bit of inspiration to change her story from being about horrible friends- To being about friends...Just friends. No good. No bad. Because after all, Y/n did make new friends in this small town Derry, and they built a house in her heart. So did Bill.
