Ethan's POV
I enter the Dolan Enterprises and immediately being greeted by my staff. I nod my head at them and made my way towards the elevator.
As soon as I reach my floor I quickly walk towards my office. "Good morning Sir" my assistant said in the same preppy voice. "Morning don't let anyone in for the next one hour" I ordered opening my office doors.
"A very good morning brother" Grayson said twirling his chair towards me. "Again" I mumbled walking towards my chair. "Oh god, she is determined isn't she?" He chuckled knowing what I was referring to.
"Yeah and I don't know why?" I said looking out the huge window.
"Dude are you dumb? You are one of the most richest man in the world" he said emphasizing on the word 'world'.
"I thought she loved me" I muttered. "It's the 2nd time she has tried and its only been three days. Mr. I tHoUgHt ShE lOvEd mE" he said mimicking me.
"Good morning baby" I heard my wife's voice as she ran her fingers through my hair making me groan. I love when she does that. "Come on you have an important meeting to attend" she reminded getting up.
"bye I love you" I shouted as I ran towards my car. I was running late, if Y/n wouldn't have persuaded me to take shower with her, I wouldn't have been in this position.
I sped up my car as I glanced at watch. As I came near a red light, I tried to slow down by pressing the brake but nothing was happening. I tried to control the speed but nothing was happening. I look up seeing a car in front of me. I quickly swerved in another direction not realising that there was a huge tree in front of me.
"There wasn't much damage Mr. Dolan. You are a lucky person" the doctor announced. I thanked him and exited his room. "Thank God nothing happened to you baby" Y/n said as she saw me coming out of the room.
"The first try was one kind of far fetched but she pulled it off very nicely though" Grayson admitted.
"Yeah I was kind of impressed by her skills" I chuckled. "Both acting and mechanical" Grayson added.
"Now tell me what happened this time?" He asked.
"She poisoned my food this time" I responded. "Typical" Grayson laughed.
"The only thing I gotta say is that your girlfriend is pretty determined about this" He said.
"I feel bad for her, you know, she tries so hard to think of an idea to kill her own husband, then it fails. The look of disappointment on her face makes me laugh sometimes" I confessed laughing at my miserable wife.
"But it's fun to see, a mortal trying to kill an immortal" he laughed.

I am new to writing therefore I always try to improve myself. I just wanted to change my way of writing a little bit.
