PREVIOUSLY:
At the safe house, Freed had joined the mates to create another magic barrier around the house slow down the slayers. Back at the guild, Freed's magic barrier went out and the slayers escaped.....

"Hey Juvia!" Meredy sat besides Juvia who was also sitting at the edge of the bed, "what are you doing?" She asked

"I'm just....thinking" Juvia answered, still looking at the ceiling above her, "about?" Meredy asked

"You know, this whole mate thing" she answered, her voice bland, Meredy signed, she placed her hands on Juvia's

"I've just never thought that I'll be my beloved's mate, you know?" Meredy nodded understandingly

"I mean, why me? Why do I deserve to be his mate, he only wants to be with me only for mating season"

"What if he goes back to how he was after mating season? What if he stops loving me?" Those words hit Meredy hard, she always thought that Juvia and Gray were dating....

"Juvia, I won't know how you must be feeling but by what Ultear has told me about Gray...."

"He's gone through so much and it's kinda hard for him to show his emotions and plus,"

"He still thinks that if he'll ever love someone else, they'll leave him like Ur and U-ultear....."

Meredy's voice break, tears welded up in her eyes, she misses Ultear so much, she was like a mother-figure to her

Juvia looked at Meredy, concerned for the girl, "it's going to be okay Meredy, I'm sure Ultear is watching over you now"

Juvia gave a sad smile, "you're right, I'm just being selfish" Meredy wiped away her tears

"No you're not, you helped me understand Gray and I have to thank you for that, I was only thinking about myself, so technically, I'm the one being selfish" Juvia told Meredy

The two girls sat besides each other, silence engulfing the room, "you know Juvia...." Meredy broke the silence

"Thank you" she smiled, Juvia smiled back and the two shared a warm hug

In the next room, were Erza, Kagura, Wendy and Chelia, minding their own business

Chelia and Wendy were playing a game of truth or dare while on the other hand Erza and Kagura were talking about stuff....

"So, how are you and Jellal doing?" Kagura teased Erza, her face turned crimson red, she grabbed the edge of the bed

"Ohhhh, you know!" She stalled, Kagura smirked at the requip mage, "I think you loveeeeeeee him~~~" she made an impression of Happy

"No, I don't!" Erza curled up in the corner of the room, leaving Chelia and Wendy confused

"What's wrong with her?" Wendy asked Kagura as she played around with Frosch, "nothing, you know, boy stuff" Kagura smirked at the two

Wendy and Chelia blushed, "what does she mean by boy stuff?" Chelia asked the sky dragon slayer

"I think she meant what she meant" Wendy told Chelia, not wanting to think about the details

"Anyways......" Carla cleared her throat, "it's your turn Chelia" Carla told her, "alright then, truth!" She said

The game was joined by Happy, Pantherlily and Lector, Frosch didn't know how to play and there was no chance of Kagura letting Frosch go

Kagura was turning into Rogue "Have you ever thought of Eve before?" Happy asked, beating everyone else before they could ask the girl the same question
