Chapter 27

PREVIOUSLY:
After Sting went after Yukino, he caught her and marked her immediately. After he marked her, she accepted that fact and they confessed to each other under the floating ice rains which Lyon made previously and they are now cuddling together.

"YUKINO!" Minerva called, still searching for her friend, she wasn't even paying attention to her surroundings that she tripped on a rock and fell, face first on the ground

She was back on her feet, knowing nobody saw her embarrassingly fall, her hands dusted her dress when she heard a branch crack

Her head shot back around, not seeing anything but a tree which was weird because it wasn't there before

I think Rufus is here she thought, remembering that he uses memory-make magic

She closed her eyes and opened them instantly feeling his presence nearby, she teleported him towards her location

Rufus looked around him, unbothered by what just happened, "wouldn't it have been easier if you left me there, m'lady?" Rufus questioned

He moved his hand and the tree disappeared, "of course it would've but you've already found my location, so, what's the point?" Minerva raises her brow at him

"I see" Rufus nodded, they both had a staring contest when she instantly looked behind and she kicked the person behind her

Rufus held his hat down as he hit a tree, "I can see straight through your memory magic Rufus" Minerva answered

She looked behind her and saw him standing there, "I know that, that's why I'm being cautious" he said

"Let's get this over with" Minerva smirked, she put her hands above her head and chanted "Niel Wielg Mion Terse Elcantaeus: Yagdo Rigora"

She waved her hands in a circular motion, which summons the 18 Battle Gods, Yagdo Rigora

A large statue with some designs and patterns over its body appears and creates a blast which made everywhere tremble

Rufus coughed out the dirt, he fell down onto the ground, beaten from her summoning of the 18 battle gods

"I should get going now, goodbye" Minerva waved and walked away, leaving Rufus alone

"Not so fast!" Rufus shouted making her stop right on her steps "memory-make!" Rufus started

"Niel Wielg Mion Terse Elcantaeus: Yagdo Rigora!" Rufus memorized, he was going to use the 18 god's spell Minerva, she moved back

He combined the spell with another spell he memorized earlier, "attack!" He shouted, Minerva stood still, not moving an inch

She was really calm and this made Rufus worry, with one simple move with her hands, she diffused the attack

This was her spell, she can diffuse it anytime she wanted making Rufus have a disadvantage here

"Memory-make! Ice and fire!" He tried again, his magic power increasing alot, he threw the attack on Minerva

"Territory" she whispered under her breath, she manipulated the spatial region within her line of sight

Blocking the attack with no efforts needed at all, Minerva moved her hands infront of Rufus and moved an object besides him

She used that object and threw it onto him, Rufus groaned in pain by the amount of force she used

"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Forgot I could use Memory-make magic?" Rufus questioned making her eyes widened

The figure which stayed on the ground stayed there which Minerva didn't notice, she used her hands and threw a blast at Rufus

He closed his eyes and said, "memory-make! Shield!" An invisible shield appeared when as soon as the attack hit, it went back towards Minerva

She got hit but it wasn't enough to take her down, "memory make! Wave!" Rufus shouted

It was silent for a second but the water rushed towards them both, Minerva closed her eyes for the water not to get in it

"Give up! And I'll take it away" Rufus told her, grabbing to a tree aswell, Minerva clicked her tongue

She gave him a look which he returned to her as she said,

"You'll never catch me" she smirked and teleported out of the forest, returning back at the guild hall

Where the injured were found, she saw that Milliana was still there but still unconscious, Olga hasn't arrived yet? She thought curiously

Flashback~

Rufus took the Tsunami away and walked back to go find Olga who he forgot he just used as a shield earlier

"R-rufus...." Olga moved his hands forward, trying to call the memory make mage who didn't hear him and kept on walking

The poor black lightning slayer stayed there, everybody forgetting of his existence for a second when hope aroused

"Olga?" Romeo questioned, the boy and Eve helped the black lightning slayer up but he fell back down on his knees

"We need to help him" Romeo told Eve, "alright, drink this" Eve told Olga, handing him a vial with a potion inside

Olga drank and it and he teleported back at his guild, where no one was at, "that'll do it" Eve shrugged and the two went to search for Wendy and Chelia

"Is she going to be okay?" Minerva asked Porlyusica, sitting by Milianna's side, "she will, she just needs rest" she answered

A groan escaped Elfman's lips, he woke up and held onto his head, "what happened?" He asked

Minerva signed deeply, looking around them, the guild hall of fairy tail was destroyed and they will need to construct it again

"Well...." Minerva closed her eyes
