Stina Pov
I was eating breakfast at home thinking about you know what. Today I was going to Matchmaking HQ with my parents. And Dex and his parents will also be there. His parents don't like me. Understandbly so, I bullied him for years. I've been pretty much avoiding them.
"Surely this has to be a mistake? I mean you can't have just one match that's impossible" My Mom murmurs.
My Mom was pacing the kitchen, she does that when she's nervous. My Mom was really worried about this. Way more nervous then I was. When she was younger she had her own matchmaking drama.
"Look we don't know anything for sure, for all we know maybe Dex isn't even a match of hers" My Dad states,
My Dad was way more chillax about this. He and I usually get along. But a couple years ago, I wanted to join the Black Swan. And he went behind my back and told the Fork Dude not to admit me! Like Sophie and her friends parents were like, 'Cool you can join, just don't die' But noo My Dad had to be the one like 'Nah son'
Personnally I didn't know how to feel about this. I don't know anything. But I talked to my cousin Ollie about if he heard anything and he was all like "Classified bla bla bla Go to the meeting Bla bla bla" so nothing.
After arriving
We were right outside the building. It was grand and immaculate not a hair out of place. I walked in and I suddenly felt underdressed. I was wearing a simple purple tunic with ripped black leggings and combat boots. My curls were up in a basic ponytail.Everyone else looked like a million dollars. Well except one family. I saw Dex and his parents sitting in one of the chairs in the waiting room. I didn't know if there was separate meetings or it was together or what. But my biggest question was, Do I sit next to them.
"Wow look there are chairs over there" My mom says pointing at some chairs far from the Dizznees. Mom and Juline have a huge feud going on. They despise each other. They're actually pretty simlair. If they got over there egos they'de probably be friends. However this time I agreed with my Mom. Sadly my Dad didn't.
"But there are some chairs next to the Dizznees, plus we can see if they know anything" Dad said. Dad and Kesler used to be best friends before the whole Exillium thing. It can't be proven but I'm like 98% sure that Kesler was helping him fake his ability.
We walk over there and Kesler and Dad talk a bit. While Juline and Mom give each other the death glare. I was looking down at the floor while Dex was looking up. We were basicly looking anywhere but each other.
"So you know anything?" Dex inquires
"Nope, You?" I reply
"No" Dex responds
And that was the end of our conversation. A couple minutes later some woman in a pink suit called us.
"Christina Heks and Dexter Dizznee?" The lady says. Our families stand up.
"Just the kids we'll call the parents in in a bit" The lady says.
She motions us to follow.
Dex POV
"Hello my name is RosiBel Hernandez and I'm the Head Matchmaker of the Eternalia Branch." She says.
I take closer look at her she had olive skin and Sea Green eyes. Her long Brown hair was in a tight bun. She looked like she could kiss a dude then break his arms.
