On May 10 2020 , JYP announced Kim Yuna youngest of THE GHOST is taking a short hiatus due to having serious depression. THE GHOST Leader, Kim Young Jae posted a hand written letter on Instagram claiming that Yuna has attempt suicide multiple times but was stopped by her roommate,Ahn Dae Jung. Later on Kang Soo Ah the oldest female member of THE GHOST also mentioned about Yuna's condition in her solo vlive during the night the news was out.

Dear Souls,
JYP has announced Yuna our maknae's hiatus because of depression and I know many would be worried as she is still young. We didn't noticed what was going on until Dae-Jung told us. She was all happy infront of us, she smiles infront of medias and fans acting like she was having a great life. She always say things like "it's fine" "I'll be okay" " I'm here" to all of the members when anyone of us are feeling down. What we didn't know is, that was all the things she wanted us to say to her. Nobody was there when she went through hell. But she was there when we went through hell and brought us to heaven. She attempted suicide multiple times , on March 27 she ate a total of 2 boxes of sertaline and was in a dangerous condition which could lead to death but was soon spotted by our fellow member, Ahn Dae Jung. She was sent to hospital without the media knowing, she was in the ICU for 2 weeks and eventually recovered. Thankfully that was her last attempt suicide. Please stop hating on her, she's just 14 and is really talented. She shouldn't go through everything others in her age shouldn't go through. She is just 14. Yes. I'm using her international age, because this proves she's young.

Soo Ah: Yuna? She's hopefully fine. She still smiles...well fake smiles.

Fans: Is she okay?

Soo Ah: Yes she is. She's safe with us, she is now in the studio along with Hyun Ki. We kept all of her medicines,blades and more things. We even kept her phone and laptop to prevent her from reading hate comments and thinkin negative.

Fans: Do you still remember her way of suicide?

Soo Ah: Well not really cause she did it too many times ........but I still remember her applying toothpaste on her wrist and the next day she had  headache , her hand hurts, she couldn't lift her hand.

As fans could see, the member has already started crying talking about the younger that was suffering. Please stop hating on her.
