"I think it started with China. They launched missiles on America, who launched them back. The entire world ended up bombed, and only those on the space stations survived the radiation because they weren't on Earth."
"I guess you can survive because there's more radiation in space," I suggested, not knowing how I knew this, "And the grounders adapted. Those who could survive lived to pass on their genes."
Jasper shrugged. We placed Finn on a table in the dropship. I left Bellamy to contain the grounder. I didn't want any part in it.
"Where's Clarke?" I asked.
Octavia shrugged.
I rushed through camp, "Where's Clarke Griffin?"
"Right here!" Clarke rushed through the gate with Raven and a radio, "What happened?"
"Finn got stabbed," I said, "Come quickly."
Raven shivered in the wind, "Guys, there's a storm coming. A really big one. Everyone inside now!"
Everyone rushed into the dropship. I was nearly shut out in the chaos, but I pushed through to the ladder. The 100 crowded on the lower level.
On the second level, Octavia sat next to Finn. Raven worked, desperately trying to figure out the radio. Clarke was setting up a way to possibly remove the dagger, but she needed her mother on the radio to talk her through it. Monty and Jasper sat on the other side of the room, praying for Finn to survive.
The top level was where Bellamy had tied up the grounder. He and Miller were interrogating the man, who refused to talk.
Bellamy, having temporarily given up, came down the ladder to check on Finn.
"Ark station, this is Raven Reyes on the ground with the 100," Raven spoke into the radio, "Does anyone copy?"
"I need to talk to my mom," Clarke said, "I don't know how to fix this."
Raven snapped, "I'm trying. Ark station, this is Raven Reyes on the ground with the 100. Does anyone copy?"
Finn groaned slightly, "Hey Jasper."
"What?" Jasper and Monty walked over, forcing Bellamy, Octavia, and I to back up to make space.
"I guess we're both gonna have scars from grounders," Finn laughed and then shouted in pain from having laughed.
Jasper laughed, "I got speared. One little dagger is nothing."
"Does it hurt?" Octavia asked.
"Only when I breathe," Finn answered.
Clarke sighed, "It didn't pierce your lungs or you'd be coughing up blood already. I hope it didn't pierce an artery, but pulling it out could kill you."
"Leaving it in will kill me," Finn said.
Clarke rolled her eyes, "You might pass out from the pain, but it won't kill you."
At this moment, I was certain there was still tension between Clarke, Finn, and Raven. Apparently, Raven and Finn had been together on the Ark, but Finn then fell in love with Clarke thinking he'd never see Raven again.
Big shock when she built a dropship and flew down to Earth.
All I knew was Clarke and Raven were both scared for Finn, who had now passed out.
"Ark station," Raven pleaded, "This is Raven Reyes with the 100. Does anyone copy."
"Raven?" Someone asked through the radio. The storm was interfering with the signal, but we could still hear them.
