"He saved me before. If he won't save Finn, maybe he'll save me."

Nearly immediately, Lincoln pointed towards the cure.

"That worked," I said, "Couldn't have done that a little sooner?"

Clarke immediately set to work on curing both Octavia and Finn.

"You stand bravely, little one," Lincoln said, "But if you want to survive, never do that again."

I nodded as everyone disappeared down the ladder except Octavia, who just stared at the bandage around her arm.

"Little help?" I asked.

"Sure," Octavia said, "If Clarke wasn't a doctor, she'd kill you."

I shrugged, "I don't see what's stopping her."

"She respects you," Octavia said, "They all do."

"It sure seemed like Murphy respected me when he tried to kill me," I laughed.

Octavia laid me down in the opposite corner from Lincoln, and then sat down and fell asleep.

Clarke came in a few times that night to tell me how Finn was doing, then to tell me not to do anything that stupid again, then to tell me that I wouldn't be allowed to walk for a while.

"You took a beating for that grounder," Clarke said, "I'm amazed you're not dead."

I had serious bruising over my ribs and on my cheek, as well as a few cuts. There were also two burn marks on my back from the taser rod.

"I'm amazed Bellamy didn't kill me," I replied, wincing as she tried to stitch the deeper cuts.

I fell asleep again, days of exhaustion and lack of sleep catching up with me. I woke up a few times over the course of the next two days until I couldn't sleep any more.

"No," Clarke said, "You need rest."

"I've had two days of rest," I said, "And if I have to sit still for one more minute, dead bodies are going to start showing up."

Bellamy shuddered, "That's comforting."

Did they actually think I'd kill them all?

"What did I miss?" I asked as I stood up. The bruising was mostly gone, but the taser burns remained.

"Monty and Raven have made a way to contact the Ark, Bellamy's been pardoned for trying to kill Chancellor Jaha, and I'm checking on you before going to check out a place for the winter so we don't all freeze to death."

I smiled, "Alright, let's go."

"Oh, and my mom wants me to forgive her," Clarke added.

"It was over a year ago," I said, "And you said she tried to reason with Jaha?"

Clarke shook her head, "She got my dad floated. I'm not going to forgive her."

"Let's go," I said.

"You're not coming."

I climbed down the ladder, "No, I'll just sit around and do nothing for another month. You won't even let me go hunting."

"Because you-"

"No," I said, "I'm coming. It's final."

Clarke sighed in frustration, but gave in.

Bellamy handed me my bow and arrows, which I was thankful for. The long trip there left us in the dark.

We found an old bunker full of spiderwebs. Most of the supplies were gone, and all that was left were barrels of guns.

Bellamy demonstrated how to use a gun, shooting at a painted X on a tarp. He missed, the kick from the machine gun causing the bullets to form a ring around the X. I rolled my eyes.
