Cool, gentle, night breeze caressed through my hair. I couldn't sleep. Knowing, the unknown was about to happen. I looked up to the sky, brilliantly filled with blazing stars. I was admiring them, thinking about nothing and everything, when I felt a movement. I looked in it's direction. Vasila? I'm sure I saw her. It was about to be midnight, she shouldn't be wandering around at this hour, it could be dangerous! I started following her.
She reached the very end of the forest's boundaries and chanted something. I watched her from behind a tree. She looked back and I hoped she didn't see me hiding quickly behind the tree. I don't think she did for she proceeded to go out of the forest. What was she doing!
I stood at the edge of the forest, staring at her. Thinking of whether to call someone from the village or to bring her back myself. Before I could think of what to do or figure out what she was doing, I saw her going towards the cage. The cage in which Bader had kept my father. She was trying to unlock it and free him.
I started running towards her. Before I could reach her, I saw men with fire set on their torches, circling around her. And heard a laughter. A cruel, evil laughter.
"Ah! Finally. I must say, it took you long enough to come save your father." He misunderstood her for me.
"Leave him! Or you shall face consequences." Just then, she threw goofer dust at him. He screamed in agony. I stood there, watching from a distance as all men surrounding her blocked her way and one caught hold of her. Nothing she did made her break free.
Suddenly, I felt a burning sensation around my neck. The crystal locket was suing brighter than the stars. She had been planning it all along. She knew something like this might happen. This was a signal. A cry for help. Others must be coming soon.
As I realised this, I didn't notice what went on for a few moments. As I looked up, I saw more people surrounding Vasila. Hands clutching her, not letting her go. And Bader, with something in his hand, it was a weapon, I had read of it. It could taje the life of a person very quickly, if one knew how to use it that way. A gun! It was called a gun! Horrified, I saw Vasila being pointed at with a gun. He thought she was the one! No!
