Trying to find away to distract himself, Jude tries to focus on finishing high school but then he meets Cara Jenkins, a curly hair girl with a heart of joy. He soon finds himself falling for her but happiness doesn't last forever for the Ambergs when their grandmother makes a visit and turns their lives upside down.
