The Space Between You And Me

Best week ever

I had had the best week of my life and from a girl who can have anything in the world it means a lot
After my first amazing kiss, Hunter left for home and I couldn't sleep, I tried and tried but I couldn't
Harrison found out and truth be told he was so proud
I even told my dad but I didn't tell the name coz the minute I would, dad would have even the FBI on his tail and keeping in mind his dad is in the Mafia I wouldn't dare

The following couple of days I spent them with Hunter, we went sightseeing and skydiving and to the beach but my favourite was when it was raining and we stayed home and watched a movie. I mean sure I caught him checking me out a couple of times and I too was not so innocent and we shared some kisses here and there but it was all special coz he was there with me

Today is Monday and am going back to school... am so happy... Get the sarcasm if I. had a guarantee that all my suspensions would lead to spending time with him then I would never step school again

I  haven't been to school yet but I have finished all my assignments for the week I missed, I mean sure I had to kick Hunter out because of the constant destruction of his lips and his constant bickering of the nerd I am but it was worth it
I also haven't seen Harrison after I told him about the kiss, he has been spending a lot of time with Nicole and as far as I know he really likes her... Turns out he can live without me... Ouch that actually hurt...

"Congrats on your first kiss"
"Oh my god who told you? Harrison Ford I will kill you with my bare hands"I shout out even though I don't know if he's home
"Actually, I saw for my self, it was quite the scene" and on cue my cheeks turn red from embarrassment
"Hey don't blush around me, plus you need to hurry in order to see him before class starts"and I leave immediately for school

After a whole week of no school it even felt weird to be back
It seemed weird people had this looks that said "DANGER ZONE AHEAD KEEP WALKING"sure I had a reputation but it is not who I am anyways to he'll I really don't give two fucks

Once I opened my locker I met Britney and her little group of how's sending me the stink eye, I get why the girl hates me but bitch, cut me some slack
She came over and placed her hand on my locker, her minions hand their hand folded and were still glaring at me
Why did you do this? Why? I looked at her shocked I really didn't get her
Why did you have to take him away from me? You made the wrong choice now your gonna pay
And she left, I still didn't get what she was talking about but I really didn't care so I went off to class still happy because it was English the class I shared with Hunter
...don't blame me I hadn't seen him all morning...

I walked into class and took a spot at the back and I really  didn't care all the stares I got sure there was something going on and I should really find out
Hi... Hey... H. Danielle? are you okay? This was the sound of Nicole that brought me back yo my senses
You seemed fazed are you okay?
Yeah am fine, Nicole can I ask you a question?
Year sure anything
Why is everyone staring at me in a weird way?
Ooh that's easy coz you and Hunter are a thing
What and who said so? I ask rather to loud  for my liking
Says the pics of you two kissing outside your door
Ooh that and I can officially feel all heated up
Immediately the teacher gets into class and Hunter is officially late for class

After an hour and a half of arguing with my brain and constantly watching the teachers mouth move up and down class was over
It was my worst class ever it was boring from the start and so were all the others where I had to zone out Hunter had not appeared for any classes according to Jace or maybe he just didn't come to school

I had a free lesson and I was walking down the hallway towards the library to get some studies done I stopped on my tracks when I felt a hand on my shoulder I saw people starting to watch but I still didn't known who it was some faces looked shocked and that was most of them
I didn't feel tingly inside so I knew it wasn't Hunter but the person I saw I didn't expect
It was Mark and Luke Grey, the schools famous bullies, well not exactly, Luke was the actual bully and Mark was the brains they said together they ruled both the jocks and the nerds
Mark was number one before I came here and was the reigning valedictorian but I guess not anymore, as far as I could go that was the only association I had with any of the two

Hi, how has your day been going on? One of them asked
I hope you've seen Hunter we actually did a number in him the other said
We are here for one thing, to warn you leave Hunter Jacobs alone got it

By now a crowd had already gathered so I decided to give them the show they deserved
Or what? I asked rather stern
Or this and at instant he started throwing punches at me that I dodged and the other brother who I guess is Mark just left as if sure Luke was gonna do the job
Come to think of it this was all Britney's doing what she said earlier now made sense.
Once I dodged all his attacks I started search for weak points, his posture was all wrong he would break his fists if he wasn't careful he had his reflex action quite low
I made him stop and smiled, "stop your gonna hurt yourself" he just looked at me fazed by what I was saying
"Your posture is all wrong," I said and turned my foot a little bit only to push his leg slightly and he fell to the ground
"Am sorry I don't have time for this I have to go" I said and left through the crowd that was gathered around
I knew this would land me trouble later on but I didn't care all I wanted was to see Hunter, just to make sure he was okay

An hour later I still had not found him thank god it was lunch coz I was starving and I could finally confirm with Nicole if everything was okay

Hi have you seen Hunter around school I asked Nicole once I settled down on my seat
Looks like someone can't stay away from him Harrison started teasing around and I felt myself blush like a very red tomato I still don't get why it happens
No, am okay I was just checking because I haven't seen him all day and I got worried
So you do care... Awww! It's cute Nicole said holding on to Harrison like the world depended on it
Lunch was almost over in a while and Hunter had not showed up  I was starting to feel like he was hiding from me  but I didn't make any assumptions maybe he had a good reason
The bell went off and I had PE and unfortunately it was with Britney since Hunter decided not to show up I was all by myself in the devils den
I was quiet and all alone by the field the girls were seared on the bench as the guys practiced for the upcoming season
I was just staring to nowhere in particular when i felt a light peck on my lips which immediately shocked me back to reality

It was Hunter, he looked happy and he was all smiling and I looked into his eyes to see the golden speck that always seemed to appear when his expressions were sincere I just stare d down to avoid the blush that was coming on strong
Even though I was so mad at him right now I just couldn't resist I felt all happy and relieved inside
He made his way to the field a d the game begun throughout I felt all the girls gaze at me and mostly Britney who was so pissed she turned red

Once the lesson was over I couldn't wait to hear Hunter's excuse
I went into the changing room and got my clothes on and put the PE kit in my bag before I decided there was no way I was going to the next class without speaking to Hunter with twenty minutes still on the clock to the next class. I decided to walk into the guys changing room

Hey what you doing here? You know this is the guys changing room? She's a dare devil, dam this girls got the balls, okay if she's gonna see me change I have to see her too
They all said this and much more that I couldn't figure out but the last one got to me and I the bitch I am I fired back
Ooh please, none of you can match up to me  am just here to speak to Hunter so someone show me where he is and besides your too small for my liking I said and ushered down to his smaller self that wasn't so appealing

And what about me? Someone asked from behind me which caused me to turn around to find a very very appealing Hunter who had no shirt on and his shorts hanged low on his hips I could see his v shape that started to turn the gears inside me slowly as  he started walking towards me

Oh god what have I got myself into
