After making an enemy of Striker, unpacking my things, and accidentally stumbling upon a shirtless Cameron, I made my way down the staircase. While hopping down the steps, I heard voices grow louder from around the corner. Walking about, I found myself back in the magnificent kitchen that I hardly had any time to observe earlier. Similar to the rest of the house's knack for being able to host a lot fo people, the kitchen had an island with 8 stools around it. Additionally, it had industrial light fixtures shining over the island that connected with a large rack holding pots and pans of all sizes. There were two ovens and an oven-like microwave all on the right of me. Straight ahead, was the fridge that just barely blended into the cabinets around it. To the left of that was the pantry. This pantry was no joke, being the size of my actual closet at home. I saw a pack of Oreo's and immediately ran to them. Once I grabbed them, I turned back and saw 5 pairs of eyes staring at me.
"...Anyone want an Oreo?" I looked down at the package, "Double stuff?" I chuckled a little, feeling a bit awkward. They erupted in laughter, apparently amused with my obliviousness to them before or my blinding love for Oreo's. Maybe both.
"Yeah I'll take one," Avery said, followed by Faye, Striker, and so on. Even Cameron asked for one. Politely, too, might I add.
After a while of talking and munching on Oreo's, Faye had the great idea of turning on a movie. We all walked over to the living room, plopping down on the couch. I don't think I realized how large the couches were until I saw how easily we all fit, still with room to spare. Once I thought about it, I noticed that we were missing two people. My eyes went wide. As if my thoughts had summoned them, Jeremy and Sarah had entered through the front door, closing it behind them. Immediately following this, Cameron got up and murmured something along the lines of needing to get something from the car. I made a face at Faye, and she gave me a returning, "I'll tell you later" look. I nodded and got comfortable again. Reaching for the remote, Jeremy sat down and turned on the T.V.
"Alright ladies, what are we watching?"
"Who are you calling a lady?" Striker looked over to Jeremy, confused and a little offended.
"Yeah." Avery sat up.
"Well how do I put this... Avery, you have a chick's name, and Striker," Striker raised an eyebrow and put his hands on his hips, "...I don't need to explain myself." Jeremy chortled at his own roast towards the two, laughing so hard that he stood up and took a lap around the room. I giggled a little bit too which caused Striker to shoot his glare over in my direction.
"Miss girl I know you did not just giggle your little California giggle at me. Watch ya self." He said sassily.
"Mmmhmm" Avery stood up next to him, with the same sassy look on his face. This only made me laugh harder, Faye joining in. After my hysterics had died down, they settled on watching IT.
Great. I just love clowns. Especially for 2 hours straight.

After that god-awful movie finished, I had to peel myself off of Faye from holding onto her so tight. I'm glad that she can handle a horror movie because I certainly cannot.

"OH MY G- okay, excuse me." I shrieked, excusing myself from the living room. I ran outside and immediately called her. After only two rings, she picked up. I absolutely screamed into the phone:
"KACIE! Oh my god you loser, where have you been? I've been here almost a month and you haven't answered me once!" I yelled, exciting to hear from her but also hurt that there had been no attempt to reach out to me.
