(2) My Lovely Flower

     It surprised you when someone knocked on your apartment door one evening. You stared at the entrance as the knock came again signaling someone was indeed there. But you had no idea who it would be. Slowly, you got out of bed then went to open it to see who was there. You looked through the peephole and saw that no one was there. Puzzled, you opened the door and didn't see a soul in sight.

     Except for a bouquet of (favorite flowers).

     You gasped at the sight of them and picked them up to take in their beautiful scent. The flowers were tied together with a blue ribbon and a note was placed in the middle. You turned it over and it read:

                                               For the brightest star in my dark sky, Love N.

     If anyone saw you, they would say that you were grinning like a madman. You lifted your head up and saw that no one was anywhere near so you concluded that they were hiding behind a corner or they had them sent. Either way, you wished he would have given you the bouquet in person. You checked one more time to see if someone would show up, and when no one did, you went back inside to place the flowers in a vase.
