This is fun (chap 2)

~the next morning~

Ayako woke up slowly, her knee a little sore from yesterday but she brushed it off like she usually does, she turns her alarm off and sat up looking around "mm... another day..maybe going back to the volleyball club with be fun.." she smiled to herself, she grabs her uniform and puts it on then looking at herself in the mirror "maybe i can find socks that cover my knee...". After she got dressed she went downstairs to be greeted by her dad.

"Good morning!" She said cheerfully.

"Ah, good morning ayako" he smiled when he looked up from his breakfast.

"Why aren't you at work yet??" She asked.

"Oh, today is a slow day so i was told to come in later" he said in reply to her question.

"Oh, okay, well I'm going to head out now! Also I'm staying after school for something!" She says loudly before leaving.

"Alright, be safe!!" He says before she leaves.

Once ayako arrived inside the school she changed her shoes and walked towards her class, she hoped she didn't run into the tall boy named tsukishima, she was quite scared of him due to his height. 'It'll be fine ayako-..' she thought as she opened the class door, ayako looked up and smiled as she noticed tsukki wasn't in class yet. She sat down in her seat and started to doodle in her notebook waiting for the lesson to start, soon Tsukishima walked into the classroom, as he walked by he glanced down at ayako who was distracted by her doodles, he sat down and then soon the teacher walked in.

"Alright class, today I'll be assigned you a group project as the first project of the year" the teacher announced, everyone smiled as they thought they could pick their friends as partners but the teacher soon interrupted "but- i will be choosing partners for this project" everyone sighed here that they couldn't pick to work with their friends, ayako on the other hand was nervous due to not knowing anyone in the class, the teacher listed off names and it soon got to ayako "Odaka and Tsukishima, you two will work together", ayako looked up and gulped nervously as she looked over to at Tsukishima and when he glanced at her she immediately looked down, The teacher went on to explain the project "okay, so you and you're partner will work together to make a small model of a hobby or thing you enjoy or are doing currently, and i will also want a written part explaining why you enjoy this certain thing, the written half only needs to be half a page to a page long, either is fine, now you all are free to chat amongst yourself", the teacher soon went out of the classroom to get some papers.

Tsukishima walked up to ayakos desk and looked down at her "hey..-".

She jumped slightly and looked up at the blonde standing next to her "u-uhm hello".

"So for the project...my house or yours..?" He continued to look at ayako waiting for a response.

Ayako looked into his eyes and almost got lost in them but got herself together "uhmm..doesn't matter t-to me, whichever you're comfortable w-with".

"My house then..." after he answered he went back to sit down and put his headphones on.

Ayako looked down at her notebook and exhaled slightly, 'that was scary..' she thought to herself.

It was now lunch time and ayako decided to sit alone as she wasn't feeling like talking to anyone, "hmm..where can i sit..?" She mumbles to herself before sitting down somewhere outside, she opened her lunch box and started to eat her lunch, 'i hope the volleyball team is okay with me showing up...' she continued to eat but the thought stayed in her head. Once lunch time was over ayako headed to her last few classes for the day. Finally classes had ended and ayako walked to the gym where the volleyball boys practiced.
