Before we get started I want to say, Bakugou Katsuki could break my ribs and spit in my mouth and I would say "Thank you and I love you"
Kirishima's POV
Being paired up with Bakugo was by far the best decision Denki made in a while. Nothing against Denki, but he seems out of it lately. I know it's hard having someone you like/care about a lot get snatched from you. I was exactly like Denki when Bakugou got kidnapped. I didn't eat or sleep until we got him home. That experience gave me a revelation.
I loved Bakugou. Now, I know what you're thinking but no I haven't confessed and it's been months since the kidnapping. I'm not going to confess to someone like Bakugou unless I'm certain he likes me too. I know he likes me back, he's friendly with me, more so than with the others but I have no clue how far that kindness extends. But, now is not the time to be sharing my unrequited love.
We were the last one to make it to our steak out spot. Everyone else has already headed home. Bakugou switched between being angry about the bus to the power plant and napping next to me. He's up way past his bedtime but it's so manly of him to help our friend out like this.
The bus stopped and we trekked our way into the forest that held the power supply plant. Upon coming up to it we climb a tree, staying close. I could feel Bakugou's breath on my neck. I fought back from shuddering. I closed my eyes for a second enjoying the feeling and felt Bakugou nudge me.
"Hey Dumb Hair, are you going to radio in or not?" He asked, adding a little "tch" after. I smiled and nodded back. Pulling the radio out of my backpack, I started to give our report.
"Red Riot and Ground Zer-" I started but Bakugou yanked the radio device from me.
"He means 'Lord Explosion Murder'..." He growled before handing it back to me.
"I'm not saying that Bakugou." I said. Getting back to the report. "Ground Zero and I are here. No one seems to be around. But there are lights on in one building. We're heading to check it out. We'll Radio back in when we're done." I finished. I checked my watch. It was almost 5 a.m.
We need to hurry and get back before anyone notices we're gone. I dropped from the tree and Bakugou followed after. We checked all the buildings before making it over to the one that was lit up. We did a perimeter search and found a small basement window. There were a few lights on and something chained to the wall. I pulled out a small flashlight and flashed it in the room. All we saw was a purple fluff. Purple like Shinso's hair. I tapped on the window before Bakugou pulled my hand away.
"Don't do that stupid, if it's not him we can't get caught." He whispered, yelled at me. I nodded and gave him a small smile.
But the person or thing heard me and got up. They weren't attached to the wall, so they could at least walk into the moonlight. It was Shinso! Shinso was beat up a little and pretty hurt, but he was alive and now we knew where he was.
"Shinso, we found you! You're alive!" I almost yelled but Bakugou clamped a hand over my mouth.
"Shut up!" He growled at me. I need to be more careful, I've been a little careless.
"Guy's where are my dad's? The heroes?" He asked through the window. I tried prying it open. It wouldn't budge. I couldn't open it without breaking it and that would alert everyone else.
"It's only me and the idiot right now, but we'll get you out of here. We promised Denki." He said. He tried to unscrew the bolts but we couldn't get a grip on them. He looked around and motioned for me and Shinso to move back. We both did so. But, then he tried to explode the window. I lunged at him and landed on top of him. The window didn't break but there was a small crack, and a loud boom.
Me and Shinso deadpanned at him and waited in silence to see if anyone was coming. Shinso snuck over to where he bed to pretend to be sleeping in case anyone came in and I laid on top of Bakugou. The only sound was the birds waking up and our breath. But then a door opened.
Out came a very tired, very annoyed, very blond girl with a knife.
Bakugou's POV
Awe man here we go again.
I pushed Kiri off of me and we both jumped into a fighting position. She looked at us for about a minute in our all black outfits, hoods and masks, the whole shebang. Then looked at the window to Shinso's cell. Then it clicked in her mind.
"You can't have him. Shiggy needs him." She said, then yawned. It was clear she didn't want to fight so early in the morning, but she also knew what would happen if we rescued him. We needed to beat her, quickly and quietly so my quirk was a no no this round. Shinso's and Kiri's safety is more important than my quirk usage.
She stretched a little and ran at us. I whirled out of the way, while Kiri ducked. I know his quirk could take a hit from her. We had to keep her quiet and get her subdued. Kiri tripped on accident her so I ran over and tackled her down to the ground. She was about to scream but Kiri realized and shoved his whole hand in her mouth. Hardened of course, so she couldn't bite him. I struggled to keep her down and take out the rope we brought along for this purpose. I tied her up and gagged her. Kiri pulled his hand away and pretty much gagged himself.
"Dude, don't ever let me do that again. That was worse than turning into a meatball." He whipped his hand off on his shirt. I just huffed out a laugh and shook my head before hauling the girl over my shoulder. We'd drop her off at the nearest police station.
Kiri rushed over to the window and got Shinso's attention. "Hey man, we'll come back with everyone tomorrow night. I promise. Don't let them move you at all." He said. Shinso nodded and headed back to bed.
As we were walking, with me carrying Blondey, she somehow got loose and somehow had a concealed knife. She stabbed Kirishima while he wasn't expecting it. Before he could harden all the way she slit his side open a little.
"Kiri!" I yelled before grabbing her again. This time searching her for any weapons then tying her up.
"Hand off the goods, blasty boy." She hissed at me. We were taking this gal to jail, right now. But, first I wrapped up Kiri's side.
"Thanks Bakugou." He said, in pain. I cringed a little at that fact alone.
"Katsuki. You can call me Katsuki." I said, looking away from him. I knew I liked Kirishima, but I tried now to show it too much so he wouldn't be uncomfortable being around me. This was one of the times I slipped and let my love for him show.
"Okay... Call me Eijiro." He smiled his 'manly' smile. The one I loved.
"Hey lovebirds! I'm still here!" Blondey shouted at us. Thrashing around on the sidewalk. We both blushed and I hurried to grab her before she somehow wiggled off into the sunrise.
We dropped her off at the police station saying she was with the LOV. That she attacked someone on the street so too anonymous heroes grabbed her.
I helped Eijiro limp back to our home, UA. Only to find disaster at 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning.
