Shinso's POV
Denki's screams. I was never going to forget that sound. The way I am pinned made it so he was all I could see.
All I could see was Denki fall to his knees and cry out in pain. He was so close I could see the tears rolling down his face before they mixed in with the rain. And yet, he didn't let go. He somehow stopped the sparking.
"Denki!" I yelled. Trying to get him to respond. I could feel my quirk was back. The inhibitor shattered along with my wrist. The adrenaline keeping me from feeling any real pain. If he responded I could get him to let go before he died.
"Denki!" I screamed again. This time he looked. He looked me in the eye. I couldn't even see his eyes. They were orbs of light. Blood dripped from them now, instead of tears. I sobbed.
"Shinso..." His voice cracked. Yes, now I could get him to let go. I could do this one thing for him. I could save him
"Let go Denki. Let go. Please, please let go." I begged. Thrashing trying to get free. To grab him. To make him stop this.
He didn't move an inch. Instead he screamed out again. Someone help him please. Help him, help us.
Aizawa's POV
The last thing I remember was someone screaming and getting thrown into the wall. A few minutes later I woke up, seeing my son pinned down and screaming. Denki glowed from the electricity he was trying to control. He was sobbing. I staggered to my feet, I wobbled over to Shinso and tried to lift the sheet of metal off of him but it was too heavy. I didn't have much strength. I looked around for any police officers or any heroes that could help me. I saw a small group staring at us. Concerned but not doing anything. Shocked more than anything but nonetheless not moving their asses.
"Get over here!" I roared at them. Trying to pry Shinso out from under the metal. Denki is still sobbing. Throwing in screams every now and then. I wanted to cry. I couldn't do anything to help him, if I touched him I would die. If anyone touched him, they would die.
One of the police officers launched into helping me. We struggled but finally got it off and I untied Shinso. He immediately tried to lunge for Denki. I had to pin him down again and hold him still while he thrashed and pleaded with me. It killed me. This situation, this experience, killed something in me.
Then things got worse.
