This chapter is Aizawa's POV of the kids sneaking out to find his son

Aizawa's POV

It's been about a week since my only son got kidnapped. I've exhausted every resource I have. The hero's are out searching daily but they've fizzled out. They have other things to deal with. But, my child is out there. Alone and hurt. Zashi is a wreck. So is Eri after discovering her brother was the one who got taken. Zashi hasn't come to teach his classes and I've been in and out. My class is smart enough not to ask questions. When I'm supposed to be teaching I'm going over maps, talking to heroes in other cities, and calling Zashi to check on him. Denki hasn't been to class at all since we found out Shinso was gone.

After destroying the power grid in the school, I let him have some time off. I know if my power had destructive capabilities, I would have reacted the same way. Zashi screamed so loud when the Nezu broke the news to us. Louder then I've ever heard him. I had to get rid of his quirk until he was a sobbing mess on the floor. This is the worst thing that's ever happened to us.

I decided on Friday night to go check on Denki and make sure he was okay. I know Shinso left the school because he got upset with Denki, but it's not his fault. He and Sero friends, I know because I teach them and I know more about all my students than I would like. I mean I pretty much live with them. All the teacher housing is right off campus and I'm often here at the dorms because of my problem children.

I knocked on Denki's door. Silence. I know he wasn't in the common room, it's too late for that. I decided to come later at night so I wouldn't embarrass Denki. That's not what he needs right now. I knocked again. No answer. At this point I was kind of worried so I used the master key I had in case of emergencies, and unlocked his door. I swung it open and no one was there. The bed was empty. Albeit not made at all, the floor and walls covered in maps and papers. Wanted posters with sticky notes on them. A list of all the known members of the league and anywhere they've attacked and anywhere they've gotten spotted. He has the numbers of heroes in every city written everywhere.

This is what he's been doing? Well, despite the fact that he's a teenager, he's doing better than I or any other hero has done in a week. But right now I have a missing student. I crawled out the window to see if he was up there. Yes, I know my students hang out on the roof. I can look out my bedroom window and see the whole building. Not there. If he wasn't there he was gone, and based off of what I found he was out looking for Shinso.

I knocked on Denki's closest friends door's. All seven of them we're gone. Deku, Todoroki, Mina, Sero, Kirishima, Uruaraka, and Denki. That's an odd number of people. He wouldn't send out anyone alone except himself, bet he's smart enough to not do that. One of the first official hero lessons I gave class 1-A is to always go with a partner. Who could be the eighth person... If Kirishima went it's Bakugou. I walked to Bakugou's room and I found a small slip of paper.

"Bakugou, I went to go look for Shinso. I need to find him. I'll be back by breakfast tomorrow or if not then something happened and you can tell Aizawa and the principle. -Denki" I read out loud. So all them going together wasn't planned. He was going to go alone but they stopped him and went with him.

I sat in the common room. I called all the nearby police stations and heroes to watch out for my students. Giving them quick descriptions of each. Then I sat in the common room and waited for them.

Mina and Uruaraka tried to sneak in first a little after midnight. They weren't hurt at all it seemed. I flicked on a light and Mina screamed and jumped on Uruaraka. They looked at each other then handed me a Radio (stolen from the Support classes I assume) then hopped on the couch.

"I know we shouldn't have snuck out and it was dangerous. But, Denki was going to do it alone and if he did we don't know what would have happened. Also we got your family a present." She said and Mina pulled out a tiny yellow orange kitten. I took him/her from Mina.

"I understand but you all are still going to get punished for Sneaking out. You have to leave finding my son to me and the other teachers and Heroes girls. Did you find him?" I asked them, trying to keep the kitten where I could see them. They shook their heads no. I sighed in defeat, I shouldn't get my hopes up.

We sat and listened to Deku and Todoroki's report. I was a little upset at the end to find out they got attacked by an old man, but proud of them for handling. They came in together a few minutes before Sero and Denki's report. They sat on the couch with Mina and Uruaraka. The girls filled them in and asked about their stakeout mission. Deku and Todoroki stopped at a fast food place and brought some leftovers before coming back.

Denki and Sero's report came in. Sero radioed in and said nothing about Denki being there. If Denki wasn't with him who was? I was about to have one of them radio in asking because they seemed confused too. Kirishima radioed in first asking. Sero said something vague about him getting tied up.

About an hour later, the storms started. My heart was racing from worry about those four being out in the rain. In the middle of the night looking for a villain's lair. Then an hour later, Denki radioed in saying Sero got hurt and fell off a cliff. My heart stopped. These kids we're going to make me have to go visit Recovery Girl myself. I gave her a call to let her know the kids were coming.

A minute later Kirishima and Bakugou called in being chaotic. They gave a simple report. It was almost five in the morning then. We all sat in the common room talking about various things. Trying to ignore that it was almost seven a.m. and we heard nothing from the boys. Denki sat in silence and Sero was in the Recovery Girls office.

Then Bakugou kicked down the door to the common room. Kirishima was leaning on him with blood seeping through a make-shift bandage.

"We found him guys. We can go get him tonight." He said before both boys collapsed in a pile. They found my son.

The disaster Bakugou mentioned walking into was collapsing infront of his friends. It made him feel weak. But he was so tired from being up all night and practically carrying Kirishima home.
