*six months later*
*Y/n's POV*

Y/n wakes up early. It was the start of a new day and a new school. It had been six long months that she had to spend in physical therapy to regain the use of her legs and arms because of whatever experiment that Rampage and Cryotek had done to her. Tarantulas had been designated to be her doctor as well as her physical therapist since he thinks humans wouldn't be able to properly treat Y/n. Y/n gets out of bed and gets dressed. She winces in pain as she pulls her jeans over her legs. She still felt pain in her arms and legs but it wasn't as bad now with the medication that Tarantulas had gave her for the pain.

After she gets dressed she heads downstairs. It was no surprise to see Tarantulas in her home, in the kitchen with BB and Starscream. "Is there a change in plans?"

"Kinda but precautionary steps have been taken," said Tarantulas. He hands Y/n a doctor's note. "This note will get you get you out of the pacer test today. Rather not have you over exert yourself today. "

"Why?" Y/n asks as she sits down at the kitchen table.

"The gym teacher has been known to have the pacer test on the first day of school. That note will get you out of gym class day. If he still makes you take it, he will answer to me," threatens Tarantulas.

A chill goes down Y/n's spine. "Anything else that I need to know or tell?"

"Anymore nightmares?"

"Does it look like I am getting any sleep? I cannot take any sleep aid or the meds you gave me will give me night terrors."

"That bad?" Tarantulas asks as he looks over to Starscream.

"Yeah...pretty bad. She didn't sleep for a week the last time it happened," said Starscream.

"I'd better get going and get back to the lab. I'm still trying to figure out a way to reverse what happened Y/n," said Tarantulas before he leaves. "Don't forget to stop by the lab later so I can run some more tests." He leaves the kitchen.

Y/n watches Tarantulas leave. "How long was he here?"

"An hour before you woke up," said BB. "Now before you leave, you need to eat. I'll make some pancakes. You need a good breakfast in order to make through the day."

"Can you make some scrambled eggs to as well?"

After eating a good breakfast, Starscream takes Y/n to her new high school, Solus High School. She would have walked herself to school but Starscream wouldn't let her. He dropped her off and she heads inside. After getting her schedule and combination for her locker, she heads to her first period class with was Algerba. Math wasn't her strong suit but maybe she could find a tutor. She takes out what she needs for the class and starts taking notes.

"New here?" A male student asks as he sits down next to Y/n.

Y/n looks over to the student who had just sat down next to her. He had short black hair with frosted red tops and he had yellow eyes. He was wearing a red t-shirt and a black pair of blue jeans. He was also wearing a black leather jacket. "Yeah. It's my first day here. Well technically my first year here which is my senior year."

"I see then. Name's Jawbreaker," said Jawbreaker as he holds his hand out to Y/n for her to shake it. It takes him a few seconds to notice her hands were bandaged up before pulling his hand back. "So what happened and what's your name?"

"My name is Y/n and it's a long story. I'd rather not talk about it."

"That's fine. If you don't want to talk about it, that's okay," said Jawbreaker.

The rest of the day was rather uneventful. Y/n had Jawbreaker in a couple other classes of hers, so it was good she had someone to talk to. The problems begin to start once she got to gym class. She goes to the gym teachers office to give the teacher the note to excuse her from the pacer test. She knocks on the door. "Mr. Miles?" She opens the door when she hears a voice inside telling her to come in.

"Ah you must be the new student, Y/n. Is that correct?" Mr. Miles, the gym teacher asks.

"Yes sir. I'm here to drop off a doctor's note to excuse myself from the pacer test today," said Y/n. She hands Mr. Miles the note and he takes it from her. He takes one look at the note and then at her bandaged arms, eyes narrowed. That's when she sees the judging look in his eyes.

"Is this some kind of joke?! I dont care if you are depressed and cut yourself. You are not getting out of the pacer test today! I'll make you stay after class if you bleed on the floor," said Mr. Miles.

"That note is from Tarantulas. He's my doctor. If you give him a call, he'll tell you why my arms and legs are bandaged up."

"Does it look like I care?! Go change and go wait with your class!"

Y/n leaves the office, the door slamming behind her. She had no choice but to listen. Once she was dressed in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts, waiting with the rest of the class in the gymnasium, Y/n wished she never came to school. The kids were mocking her behind her back, pointing out the bandages. She noticed that Jawbreaker was in this class too. He gives her a worried look.

Mr. Miles walks out of his office. "Alright class listen up. Today we are running the pacer test. You need to get ten laps to get a passing grade for this class. Less then five laps and you will fail. You may being as soon as the tape on the radio says so."

The class takes their spots at the line at one end of the gymnasium. The tape plays, explaining the pacer test. The first beeper goes off signaling to start. Y/n was able to make it to twenty laps before she felt her legs almost give out. She was about to stop when she hears Mr. Miles heckling her. That made her mad. Teachers were supposed to help their students, not bring their self-esteem down. She decided, against her better judgement, to one-up the whole entire class as well as Mr. Miles too. She continues to run, making it to each end of the gymnasium, a few seconds before the beep.

It was now to the point ber body was screaming in pain. Her arms and legs felt like they were on fire. Her legs had started to bleed. By the one hundred and forty-fifth lap, she collapsed. She takes in gulps of air, trying to relieve her aching lungs. Last things she remembers was Mr. Miles yelling at her and Jawbreaker carrying her out of the gym.

Jawbreaker takes Y/n to the nurses office, explaining to the nurse about what had happened back at the gym. The nurse gives Tarantulas a call. By this point, Y/n was pretty out of it. She was set down on one of the beds and as soon as her body touched it, sleep takes over.
