*Tarantulas's POV*

Tarantulas follows after Y/n, leading him around the tents and booths of the many different vendors. He was watching her closely, wishing she wasn't wearing the outfit she was wearing. Tarantulas was getting frustrated, in more ways than one. "So how did you find the time to make all of the trinkets for your sales?"

"Once I got back from the islands, I only had a week to get everything ready. So I pretty much went a week without sleep. It didn't affect me none since I really couldn't tire myself out." Y/n turns back towards Tarantulas, walking backwards again. "I wonder why." She steps out of the way of a few fair-goers.

"Can you..."

"It's still there but it has weakened considerably. The bond that was made between us, created from when you gave me a piece of your spark,  is almost null and void. I can barely feel it at times. If I think hard enough, I can still feel it. Good riddance is what I say to it. Sleepless nights no thanks to you."

"I could fix that if you let me."

"No thanks." Y/n turns back around and ends up being swarmed by a small group of kids.

"Yokai do a magic trick!"

"Can you juggle for us, Yokai?"

"Do you have any candy, Yokai?"

Y/n couldn't help but laugh at the children's questions. "I can do one trick. Do any of you have a coin I can borrow?"

"You'd steal it from us, Yokai!" One of the kids half yells.

"Why little ole me?!" Y/n puts her hands on her chest, feigning hurt. "Why would I, Yokai the Rouge, have a reason to steal from children."

One of the kids hands Y/n a quarter. "Please give it back."

Y/n takes the quarter and pulls out a similar coin, about the same size as the quarter, from one of the pouches on her hip. She looks at the kids. "Call it, heads or tails?"

"Heads!" One half of the group yells.

"Tails!" Yells the other half of the group of kids.

Y/n flips both coins into the air and catches them, one in each hand. "Now as I recall I heard both heads and tails. Now lets see what we got." Y/n opens both her hands and shows the kids the coins. One coin had heads on both sides. While the other had tails on both sides of the coin. "Now how about that?"

The kids cheer and excitedly ask Y/n how she did the trick.

Y/n puts the coins away and hands the kid back their quarter. "I'll never tell." She watches the kids run off.

"From the seems of it your pretty famous around here," said Tarantulas.

"Yeah. Besides selling crafts, I go around entertaining the people as well as the vendors of the Renaissance Festival. Gotta keep myself occupied somehow."

"Now what about that food?" Tarantulas asks.

"Oh right. I forgot," said Y/n, laughing sheepishly. She leads Tarantulas to where some of the vendors were selling food. She walks up to one of the vendors who was selling barbecue.

"Causing trouble today, Yokai?" The vendor was dressed up as a blacksmith.

"None today, Pat. I see you traded your forge for a smoke pit," teases Y/n.

Pat looks around Y/n and sees Tarantulas. "Is he with you?"

"Yeah. He's a friend of mine. The one I told you who saved my life."

"You treat Y/n good, ya hear? She's a good kid with a good heart and a good head on her shoulders." Pat returns his attention to Y/n. "So what will it be today?"

"Two half racks of ribs with your homemade barbecue sauce, please."

"Coming right up," said Pat.

After getting the food, Y/n and Tarantulas go find a place to sit down. "When I get the chance to, I want to show you the pictures I've taken at the islands."

"I've already seen what the islands have to offer. You'll have nothing new for me to see."

"Wanna bet?" Y/n asks before tearing off a piece of meat from a rib.

"I'll take that bet. Also I'm just wondering, is your dyed hair permanent?"

"No. Unfortunately both BB and Starscream both don't want my white hair to be permanent. They both told me I could dye my hair any color as long as it doesn't weird them out. Apparently me having dyed my hair white for this Renaissance Festival, weirded them out."

"I actually agree with them. White hair doesn't suit you while you are young."

Later that day, back at the lab, Tarantulas was looking over the pictures, on his computer, that Y/n has taken while she was in the shower in order to get rid of the temporary hair color. Tarantulas pulls up a picture that Y/n had taken with Depthcharge in his Beast Mode. He couldn't believe it. In the picture, Tarantulas could see that Y/n was holding a selfie stick which had an underwater camera attached to it, with Depthcharge in the background swimming by, close to her but not too close. "How did she gain his trust in as short amount of time as a month?" Tarantulas looks the picture over. There were many tropical fish swimming by and a huge corak reef in the background.

*Y/n's POV*

Y/n had just finished her shower. She had managed to get most of the hair dye out but there was still some in her hair. She had locked the bathroom door so Tarantulas couldn't come in. She knew, since her month at the islands, they still to a sense shared a heat cycle. But her last one wasn't as bad. She figured that since she was away from Tarantulas, their bond that was created when he gave her a piece of his spark, the bond would disappear. So far her guess has been right. She felt no need to be anywhere near Tarantulas. But she knew it could change in a heart beat.

Y/n changed into her clothes she had brought with her to the Renaissance Festival. She leaves the bathroom and heads into the lab. "So what do you think of the pictures?"

"How? How did you gain Depthcharge's trust in a month?" Tarantulas asks as he turns in his chair to face Y/n.

"Promise not to tell anyone? Depthcharge asked me not to tell."

"You already know what happens or is said in my lab, stays in the lab."

"Depthcharge may have found his spark mate. Not giving the full srory but she's been helping him. I met her. She's a musician. Well more of an artist who works from memory. My last night there I heard her play a ballad on her guitar."

"Interesting. Like I said whatever happens or is said in the lab, stays in the lab." Tarantulas disconnects Y/n's camera from his computer and hands it back to her.

"True." Y/n takes her camera from Tarantulas. "Well I'd best head home before BB and Starscream start to worry. Later." She gathers up her things and leaves.

Tarantulas watches Y/n leave. He wished she would stay for once. But she never stayed more than a day. After a few minute he felt a light tug on his spark. "She's just a kid," he tells himself before returning to his work.
