"Waaa~ you're out" I stuck my tongue out.
"You will pay for this" he glares at me as he tries to stand up.
"Catch me if you cann~" I teased him once again and started running.
We'd been running in circles on my playground when suddenly I tripped over the sand castle in front of me because I didn't see it due to darkness.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA you're an idiot" I saw him holding his stomach while laughing so I stood up and slapped his chest.
"Markeu-ah! Y/N-ah! It's dinner already, come inside!" I heard Mrs. Lee's voice. I saw her standing beside the sliding door.
"Yes, Mrs.Lee!" I faced Mark, who was now looking at me.
"Hey, my mom told me that there's someone who died here a long time ago, and he happens to appear here every night, over there" I pointed at the dark corner of my playhouse.
"I also heard that he eats children who stay here at this time of the night." I can not stop smiling as I notice Mark getting pale.
"So if I were you, I would start running before that man catches you." Now he looks like a statue because he is not even blinking after hearing what I said.
What a scaredy-cat
I don't know but something came to my mind and I think it's pretty good and at the same time funny.
"YAH! I SAW THE MAN!" I said while pointing at the corner
"WHERE?WHERE?" he starts to turn his head sideways
"OVER THERE!!!"
"WHERE?????"
"BEHIND YOU!" I started to run inside the house leaving him behind, I could hear him screaming like a little girl
We made it inside and sat at the table
"Why are you running and screaming?" "Look at the both of you covered in sweat"
Both Mark's mom and my mom starts to ask questions
"Hayy, we can't control them, they are still kids" my mom chuckled
"Just make sure you finish your food and start showering" she added
"Yeah yeah, and after that, we will go home Mark," Mrs. Lee said
"Now I can't play with Y/N anymore?" he pouted
"Yes you can't honey, but we can go back here tomorrow so you can play with her again" Mark's mother smiled
"Yayyy" the both of us high-fived
After eating and showering, they bid goodbye to us and my mom and I walked upstairs taking me to my room
"Am I gonna play with Mark tomorrow?" I am now lying down while she fixes my blanket
"Yes of course sweetie, so now you should go to sleep so you can see him the next day" She kissed my nose and I giggled
She closed the door and I closed my eyes
I can't wait for tomorrow
