I was about to close the door in the guest room when Mark suddenly grabbed my wrist
"Uhmm...can I sleep with you? You know..since we haven't seen each other for how many years" he scratched his nape looking at his feet
"Of course Markiee, just like the old times" I smiled and patted his head
We went upstairs and went straight to my bedroom, he laid down on the left side and me on the right facing the window
"I'm really happy we saw each other again, reunited again"
"Me too Mark, I was scared when you said you couldn't remember me"
"I'm sorry Y/N" I heard him yawn
"Mark, you don't have to say sorr—" I turned around and saw him asleep, he is hugging the pillow he gave me, I smiled and looked up the ceiling
Flashback
"Uhh... it's because..... I was playing alone, running here and running there, I didn't realize I was going straight down the stairs so I fell down and bumped my head" we were all shocked at Mark's words
"My mom was so worried that she rushed me to the hospital, and the doctors said that I would forget everything but it will be back soon from time to time"
"So yeah, my mom helped me to remember but not all of it, so I'm really grateful to see you again so I can remember everything" he looked at me with a smile on his face and I smiled back at him
We were weeping at what he said so we approached him and embraced him
"Okay, enough of this drama, let's continue the game" I said as I wiped away my tears
End of the flashback
I looked at Mark and raked my fingers through his hair
"I promise you that I'll make you remember everything Mark" I kissed his forehead and went to sleep
