MARK's POV
It's getting dark now and I remembered Mrs. Park said that we need to be there at exactly 9.
After watching the sunset at the school, she requested to go to a picnic date, the stars starts to show up.
"Mark! Look at the moon and the stars, they look so beautiful aren't they?"
"Yeah, they are beautiful, but every time I look at the moon and the starts, I always remember the story about the prince and princess who loved each other, being away for a while and ended up meeting each other once again"
"Tell me about it" she rested her head on my lap, I started caressing her hair as I started story telling.
"It is about the princess who doesn't know how to love anyone, not even her family, on day she met a prince who is deeply in love with her, he taught her how to love everyone around her, it took years before making the princess love everything including him"
"The princess starts to show her bright side because of the prince, they enjoyed every single day of their lives, but one day the princess got sick and died, the prince became so sad because he lose the love of his life"
"He didn't eat for a lot of days so he became thinner and thinner, so he ended up getting sick, he looks at the sky and saw the moon shining bright without stars surrounding it."
"You must be alone there my love, it must be hard for you up there because I am not with you, it makes me feel sad every time I think of you" he said while looking at the moon.
"Don't worry, we will see each other again" with that he closes his eyes and a tear escaped from his eyes.
After the prince died, every night comes a lot of stars with different brightness, but there is this one star that shines bright than the other stars.
The prince represents the North star while the princes represents the moon, they shine together as one even though they are far from each other.
I pointed at the sky and showed Y/N the moon and the North Star.
"Now look at the moon and that star, that's them, the princess and the prince, they shine together as one even though they are far from each other"
I looked at Y/N still looking at the sky, I tucked some of her hair at the back of her ears as I lean closer to kiss her but I was surprised when she was the first one to kissed me.
We started kissing under the night sky, if this is a dream, I don't want to wake up anymore.
I don't want to pull back anymore knowing that this will be our last date together.
Her phone suddenly rang from her bag. She pulled back and took her phone.
"Hi mom"
"Ah yes we're going back"
I looked at my phone and saw that it's almost 9pm. Y/N dropped her phone and stares at me.
"Thank you Mark, I'll make sure to treasure this day from now on"
