Chapter 10

Shadow POV.

Tails let out a nervous huff. "The thing is... The Mobian to impregnate Sonic has to be a hedgehog due to the fact that the womb isn't a natural womb. If he got pregnant by a different species of Mobian, it could cause a lot of complications." "So we have to find a male hedgehog? No big deal, the futuristic pothead could do it. Why would I hurt you for telling me that?" I was really confused now... "Hehe... Well... Silver is in the future so he can't be the one to do it... That leaves you to be the only candidate..." I felt the heat rise to my face. "WHAT?!" Tails ran and hid behind the couch... "Don't kill me please..." He sounded terrified... "Is there really no other option then me fucking f-" Then we heard the backdoor slam. "I think faker heard us... I'll go look." I walked outside to see Sonic sitting on the bench that stood in front of a flower patch.

Sonic POV.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked back to see Shadow looking... Worried? "Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked me in a soft tone, it made my heart skip a beat. "I... I don't know honestly... I did not expect all of this to happen..." After I said that I heard Shadow sigh. "Nobody did... You heard what Miles said to me, didn't you?" "I did... I just... I'm scared Shadow..." "I know you are... I am too actually..." "What do you mean by that?" I asked him. Shadow? Scared? "Never mind." He said before running of into the forest. What was that about? He seemed a little... Upset? Nervous? I have never seen him act like that before... It's kind of cute- What am I thinking?! ... I have fallen for him, haven't I? I better go find him and ask him what's wrong.

Narrator POV.

Sonic ran into the forest in search for Shadow. He looked around trying to spot the black hedgehog. It wasn't that easy to find the other hedgehog in such a big forest. Especially when the other was just as fast as you are... "Shadow?!" Sonic yelled, hoping the other would respond. Then he realized something... The cave! Of course! He ran towards the cave as fast as he could. When he arrived he heard... Sniffing? Huh? "Shadow?" There he saw what he thought he was never going to see... Shadow the hedgehog, hidden in a cave while crying. "Hey, Shads what's wrong?" "Leave me alone hedgehog!" "Not until you tell me what is wrong." "You want to know what's wrong?! YOU are! I... I feel weird and warm when I'm around you and I can't take it anymore!" "Do you mean... Do you have feelings for me? Is that what you're saying?" "Yes..." Sonic sighed in relief while his heart made a little jump of joy. "You could have just told me... I'm not going to hate you because of how you feel..." Sonic said. "Actually... I... I love you too..." "What-" Shadow got cut off when he felt a pair of soft lips touch his. He immediately melted into the kiss. After a while they parted for air. Both hedgehogs looked at each other, panting. "That... That was amazing..." Sonic said. "Agreed." Shadow said, still little red faced. Then Shadow got an idea... This could be fun. He smirked.
