Maria brushed my hair softly and tied it securely in a braided bun. She then looked at me with a satisfying smile on her face.
With a sigh I looked at myself in the mirror and was amazed by Maria's work. My light brown eyes looked beautiful by the black mascara she applied on my eyelashes. The subtle nude lipstick perfectly matched with my chestnut eye shadow and off white wedding dress.
I turned around to get a better look at my dress. It was a white wedding dress with a V-neck back and front . The sleves were filled with embroidered flowers with a little space in between to show my pastel brown skin through the thin net. It was sinched at the waist followed by elegant pleats that touched the floor. The cloth that covered my chest was similar to that of my sleves, the v neck gave a clear view of my pastel brown skin.
A pair of pastel colour earings hung down my ears and my wedding look was completed with a beautiful crystal pastel pink crown which gave me the much needed confidence.
I was about to get married to Prince Charles. Our kingdom was in danger due to the constant attacks and we needed protection, our people needed protection. The only way to gain that was for me to be wedded with Prince Charles.
