My mother covered my face with a veil which was tucked in by a crystal heirloom of our family. My dad came in and offered me his hand. I took it and secured my hand in his. I will miss him and my mom so much. The thin insvisble wall which kept my eyes from pouring broke when my dad looked at me the same way he did when I was five and said," I m so proud of you" just like he did when I chose bow and arrow as my weapon instead of a normal sword.
My dad was my everything, he always gave me so much support no matter what. I always felt that comfort and warmth in his strong arms. It just felt like home. Surving without him will be unimaginable.
My dad touched my face and brushed my cheeks softly erasing the drops of tears that rolled down my cheeks when he said that he was proud of me.
"You don't want to spoil that amazing makeup do you?" He joked. He always knew how to make me happy. They treated me like I was there everything.
The bond that I shared with my parents even after all those home games and fights was just so close that living in a place without them will be just so hard.
Me and my dad walked down the stairs of our magnificent palace and I saw a man wearing a black coat under which he wore a plain while shirt with a plain black tie and black pants with a black belt. He was charming but the stretches on his face helped me assume that he was serious. He was 20, my dad told me previously that he will inherit the throne within a month. So it shows how mature and ready he really was. All of this was just happening so fast that it was impossible to take in every single detail like the flowers that were kept in the vases and how beautifully this room was decorated.
My thoughts clouded my vision and I almost tripped down the staircase but obviously my dad saved me from the embarrassment of tripping down the stairs at my own wedding. He is always a life saver.
We reached the last stair when Charles offered me his hand, I never thought that this day would come this soon I wanted to know a man before marrying him but I honestly didn't have much of a choice.
I took a deep breath, looked at my dad giving him the "I will be fine" look and gave my hand in his.
