My bed was made but I had most of my clothes lying over the bed and my makeup was spread all over my dressing table.
But it was pretty neat overall. Charles came in and went over to look outside the window examining the beautiful view of my kingdom.
"It's beautiful you know this view in here." He said. His hands were in the side pockets of his pants and his jawline was perfectly structured. "Yeah it is" I said softly.
"Aren't you going to miss this place like everything around here." He asked, at this point my eyes met his and for the first time in forever I felt like someone wanted to know what I actually want.
"I am but this place will always be my home", I said reassuring myself than answering his question.
The room was silent, so I went over to my dressing table and smiled while looking at the posture of my family, there I was in the picture as a 10 months old little baby who had nothing except for food to worry about. That picture was everything to me, it was my whole life in a frame. My parents looked so happy in the picture while holding me and I could now see my invisible teeth, obviously I didn't have any at that time.
I felt a hand around my waist and this deep hoarse voice saying," I think we should go everyone must be waiting for us." "Yes I guess you go I will be down in a minute or two."I said returning back to my senses and reality. "Okay I will be waiting downstairs."Charles said and left the room.
I sat on my soft bed thinking how Charles was just like this thing that makes you feel nervous whenever you are around it but as you get closer and closer everything just seems so shallow.
I could see him becoming a nice king who would do right to his people but I just couldn't see a husband in him.
I couldn't see a man who would love me, cherish me, stand by me. I don't know if he will ever change. I don't know if he will ever change for me.
