Emily's POV

I turned on the camera and started recording.

"Hello everyone! Welcome to the Emily and Kini show!"

I looked back to see my dog, Kini, wagging his tail and barking. Kini is my papillon dog that I adopted two days ago, and I tried really hard to keep her a secret from Carrie. She has this weird phobia of dogs, and I'm sure she'll make me get rid of him if I don't hide him.

"Today, we're going to be going over the plan on how to stop Tristan and Carrie from having a good date! The plan is simple: Tell Carrie it's closed! She's dumb enough to believe me."

"Woff!" Kini barked in agreement. At least I think so...

"Okay okay she's coming back from the cafeteria with him right now! Hide Kini!" I exclaimed.

Kini ran back into the closet. I was watching them through the peeping hole which was really unique: It seemed to be done in a way where it allows for a really wide view like the lens in a camera. I named it the "spy hole" like the child I am. I watched as they were walking to our dorm. They were both.. actually enjoying each others company. I've never actually seen Care look this happy, and I hate to admit it but, Tristan isn't that bad of a guy.

But she still belongs to me!

I saw him try to push his hand towards her, and she shook it off! Yes! There's still a chance Carrie might want me. Wait... Their hands are getting closer, and their bodies are really close.

Eventually I couldn't see anything so I decided to unlock the door. And I thought there was nothing worse than them going on a date. This feels worse than being stabbed in the leg. They were kissing...

Like yes, I do know Carrie doesn't want me and all that but I'm sure you can understand how hard it is for the person you love to be mad in love with someone else. She actually saw me and called me but I just walked in the other direction and acted like I couldn't hear her. The last thing I wanted to hear was her voice right now. Welp, at least I fed Kini before I left.

I decided I'd go out for a drink. My eyes were filled with tears and I had to ask some random woman for a tissue to wipe my glasses.

"Hey, what's a pretty girl like you doing in a bar crying their heart out?" I didn't respond.

"Let me guess... It's a boy isn't it?" she asked.

I hesitated for a bit before responding, but I figured I looked pathetic enough as is.

"Well, it's this girl. I like this girl, but she likes another boy", I replied, hoping she wouldn't laugh at me.

"Why would I laugh at you?" she replied with a confused face. She seemed rather concerned. Shoot, I may have said that out loud.

"I've been in the same spot. And you know what I did sweetie? It's a secret I haven't told anyone. I sabotaged their relationship pretty hard. Nobody even knew. If you can pull that off, maybe she'll take an interest in you."

"That's what I was going to do", I replied.

"Oh really? Well, hey, if you're willing for me to help you, I will. Give me your hand", she said.

"I'm flattered ma'am, but what exactly could you do that could..."

Everything went back for a couple seconds. I felt really uncomfortable. After a couple seconds more my eyes became less blurry and I could see again. Now you could call me crazy, but I didn't have my glasses on, and I was bearing a big poofy dress. Last I remembered, I don't wear dresses to a bar. But even that didn't trigger something, one thing did...
