Matt's POV:

*After school*

I waited at the curb waiting
for Elly. She was so sweet. Lately I have been feeling more than best friends for her. I don't know, maybe the whole things was just a phase.

I look up to see Elly, the beautiful, long blond haired, green eyed, cheerleader running towards me, arms open for a hug, and a smile stretched to each side of her face.

This is how she always greeted me, I brought my back off of the tree and held my arms open with a flirty smirk on my face.

"Funny," she said, wrapping me in a hug.

"So, why so happy?" I asked her, looking down at her beautiful green eyes.

"I can't wait for the science fair!" She yelled.

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"You'll see." she said and she grabbed my hand.

We ran to the football field and stood infront of the bleachers, the same place we met. She grabs the football out of my book bag and throws it.

"You have improved in distance." I told her. She smiled.

"I have to get back to the house and freshen up, I will see you at the science fair at 5?" She asked me. I nodded my head yes, and she ran off, waving bye to me.

I was so excited. Elly and I barely hang out after school anymore.

*at the science fair*

I leaned agains at concrete wall, waiting to find Elly running to me, about to greet me with a hug.

Elly was all I could think of lately. I was kinda scared for her. A lot of girls had threatened to kill her if she tried going out with me. I told most of them to back off, they respect me enough to listen.

I looked up to see what I was waiting for. She was gorgeous. Her hair was brained to one side, she wore one of my black beanies, and a white shirt the said love on it in black cursive, she was wearing a denim jacked over it, and she was wearing denim short shorts, and black sandals.

"Wow," I said,"Why so dressed up?" I asked her. She just giggled, that made
my heart sink, and I don't know why.

"Come on," she said, pulling me towards the door by the wrist.

"Okay, okay, calm down."I said, and she giggled.

We got inside and she was looking around at people's projects, I was following her, she was so interested by the ones that were 3D or had stuff that moved.

She walked up to a project that had galaxies, stars, planets, moons, and the sun. She poked the sun."It's so shiny!" She said in a childish voice.

"I knew you were the dumb blond..." I laughed.

"Matt!" She yelled playfully and she slapped chest.

"Oww Elly, you might wanna stop before you bruise me." I laughed and backed up, pushing her arms away from me laughing.

"Matt." she laughed with an adorable smile on her face. She snuggled into my chest, you know, just as friends, best friends do that right? Well we do... so ha..

"Elly, this is boring. Let's go walking at the football field." I pleaded. She agreed and we walked outside.

We walked to the football field. She tried to be adventurous...

She climbed up the football goal. I got worried.

"Ellyana Belle Wilson! Get your ass down here!" I yelled at her with fear cringing in my voice.

"Your such a buzzkill." she yells, and she starts climbing back down.

She slips and falls. My heart dropped down to my stomach. She screamed in fear.

I ran and caught her, her body not touching the ground.

"Don't scare me like that again!" I whispered.

"Wow, Matt... Sorry." she giggled at me, causing me to smile.

I felt like crying... I didn't want to lose her.

"Let me text my mom..." she said.

"You're gonna tell her you almost fell from 50 feet?" I said, still cradling her in my arms.

"No, I'm gonna ask her if I can stay house tonight since it's Friday." she said.

"She's probably gonna say yes like always." I laughed."She loves me. We have known each other since we were in 6th grade."

"You're probably right. I'll tell her so she won't worry." she said.

I put her back down on the ground and we walked to my house.
