*At my house*
Matt's POV:
I walked into the door behind Elly. She turned around to me and smiled.
"Let's play Hide-and-Seek in the dark." she said I smiled and turned around and counted into the wall.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1..." I counted."Ready or not. Here I come."
I walked into my bedroom.
"Elly..." I said slowly,"If you jump out at me and scared me..." I threatened.
I heard her giggle and I smiled.
"Man, you suck at this game." I laughed. She giggled again.
"Shut up! I'm trying to hide!" She giggled.
"Shut up! I'm trying to find you!" I said.
The moonlight was shining in behind my bed, slightly lighting the room.
I saw a womanish, silhouette figure crawl out from under my bed.
She walked toward me, the moonlight shining behind her.
"I found you..." I whispered with a smile.
"I think it's the other way around." she giggled softly.
She pulled my arm like a child.
"Let's go watch a scary movie." she pleaded. I nodded my head yes and walked towards my bed.
She laid on the bed and I picked out a movie. she said scary, I said Paranormal Activity (all of them) and I laid on the bed, my arm under her head.
She had her head snuggled into my chest the whole time, either screaming in horror, or covering her eyes.
"What's gonna happen?" She asked, fear creeping into her voice. Then there was a jump scare. She let out a horrified scream, which made me laugh. Leave it to me to laugh at my best friend when she is completely horrified.
"Don't worry Elly," I whispered, hugging her closer to me."I'll always be here to protect you."
She looked up from my chest and smiled. She rested her head on my shoulder and slowly fell asleep.
She looked like an angel when she slept, which I notice more every time she spends the night at my house.
She was a gorgeous, perfect featured, angel, with beautiful, long golden hair. Her halo, shined as bright as the sun, it copied her personality, happy, bright, brings light to the room every time she walks through the door.
Wait a minute... am I... falling for her? Am I falling for my best friend? Do I...? I do, I'm in love with my best friend.
