~Chapter 5~

Elly's POV:

*at the park*

We arrived at the park and we sat in the swings.

"Matt?" An unfamiliar voice called. It was a teenage girl.

She had long straight brown hair, and she had brown eyes.

Matt got up and walked over to her.

"Morgan?" He said, cheer in his voice.

"I haven't seen you in ages!" Morgan said.

"I know!" he said. He turned around and looked at me."Elly, come here."

I got up and walked to where Matt and Morgan were.

"Elly, meet Morgan. Morgan, meet my best friend Elly." he said.

"Oh, BEST friend?" She choked out the word and then put a grin on her face.

"Yeah..." I said. She pulled Matt to the side.

I just walked to a nearby park bench and sat down, waiting or them to get done talking.

I looked at Morgan's face, I could tell. She was flirting with Matt, my heart broke.

I got up and ran to the other side of the park, going no where near Matt.

I sat on the curb and cried. He was everything to me, is he going to forget about me for her?

I was shattered, I didn't know what to do.then I heard Matt's voice.

"Elly? Elly?!" I heard faintly, I said nothing. I just looked down at the ground.

I wasn't crying, I was just thinking, my red puffy eyes looking at the ground.

Matt came running around the corner, sir hong frantically for me, a panicked look on his face.

He looked down at me and saw me staring at the ground, my face in my hands.

"Elly..." he whispered and he ran to me, wrapping me in a hug.

"Matt?" I said softly, my eyes weren't puffy anymore.

"Yeah?" He said.

"The world isn't always perfect is it?" I said.

"No," he said softly.

"I wish the world was just you and me," I said, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Then so be it." he whispered, and he laid his head on top of mine.

Is this love? Does he love me?

I laid with him until he got up, he reached for my hand and we walked to his house.

We sat on his bed and talked for a while, and I slowly fell asleep, and I dreamed of Matt and I, if we ever had a future.
