11  YEARS AGO

Lucius Malfoy paced the polished floor of his massive abode, waiting. Were they coming? Should they be coming? His wife seemed worried about their arrival, claiming that they probably would get thrown in Azkaban if anyone found out they were housing Sebastian and Sierra.

A knock upon his door. It had to be them. Who else could be at his house this late at night? Lucius peeked upstairs really quick just to make sure Draco was still in his room. He didn't exactly care if his son was sleeping, just if he was unexposed to whatever events might unfold after the door was opened.

Lucius took a calm, deep breath and opened his front door.

"Hello?" he called into the rainy night air. Thunder struck and some lightning startled the man, but there was no denying that nobody was at his door. Suddenly, a cool breeze, like someone rushing past, came from the sides of his legs. He looked down in time to see the skin of a scaly emerald green snake slithering past, and then looked up to feel a whoosh above his head, which was black as the inky sky and feathery.

Sierra and Sebastian Simberly had arrived.
