"Okay," Brina said. "Questions number.... two now, I guess."

"How do you know our parents?" Sera asked.

"They're friends with my parents." he said simply.

"Wrong. We already said they're dead." I said.

"And that's where you're wrong, Jewel." Draco said slyly. "See, they pretty much live in my house. When they're not here, of course."

"Our parents are here. Sure." Brina said sternly. "Just... if you're not giving us the real answer-"

"Hear me out!" Draco shouted before she could finish. "Okay. Full story. These one by one questions are VERY annoying. Our parents know each other because they were Death Eaters together. Assuming you don't know what those are,"

"Drinks!" a waitress interrupted him, and he glared daggers at her while she passed Sera each butterbeer before Sera passed them to whoever they belonged to. She was sly... I only saw her slip it in Draco's drink because I knew she was doing it in the first place. It was my idea, actually.

"Okay." Draco took a long sip of the butterbeer and then continued. "Death Eaters. Right. So they're the Dark Lord's supporters. Do all those spells for him and whatnot. His followers. Our parents were the proudest and the fittest that served them. Very very powerful. In his good leagues. When his time ended, your parents, Sierra and Sebastian, staged their death for two reasons. One; they had just had triplets and didn't want to drag them into their dangerous life. Two; the Dark Lord could no longer protect them, and with all the wrongs they did, they had to have him around. They now live with my family, when they're not stalking you three as unregistered Animagi."

"Wow." I said, breath taken. "If I hadn't known that we had spiked your drink, I would totally think you're lying."

"WHAT?!" Draco gasped, dropping his drink and letting the glass shatter on the table.

"Relax!" Brina shouted. "It was just honesty serum. It wasn't even a truth potion!"

"Oh.. but STILL! You could've KILLED ME if you brewed it wrong! Or if I was allergic to lacewings, as most pureblood wizards are."

"How did you know there's lacewing in honesty serum?" Sadie said suspiciously.
Draco stayed silent. He was smart. The thing with honesty serum, Brina explained after scanning our Potions textbook 5 times, is that you only tell the truth when you speak. If I tried to speak and answer a question under the serum, I would give the direct answer. But I could choose not to speak. With veritaserum, or truth potion, the drinker is forced to open their mouths and tell the truth.

And the crazy thing is that now we have to believe the unbelievable story Draco just told us.
